Ghana should be under Outside Chances, considering they are only good for marking register.

They consistently make semis

How do can Dijk do this?

Calm and cool headed..

With this his pattern,it will be hard for him to be dribbled by any player.

Here is my assessment of the chances of each of the teams (done this for the last 11 years)

FAVOURITES
-Egypt
-Senegal
-Morocco

OUTSIDE CHANCES
-Cameroun
-Nigeria
-Ghana
-CIV
-Algeria

FIGHTING CHANCES
Tunisia
Congo
Mali
Guinea
South Africa

NEVER-SAY-NEVER
- Angola
- Tanzania
- Zimbabwe
- Burundi

NO-HOPERS
-Benin
-Uganda
-Mauritania
-Madagascar
-Kenya
-Namibia
-Guinea Bissau

Now, on a personal level, which do I want to win?

1. Nigeria (for obvious reason)
2. Mali (they have been underachieving for long - mostly gets knocked out in semis)

Which do I think will win?
Morocco or Egypt

Senegal have very good individual players but not a great team.
Put Ghana for NO-HOPERS abeg. Those ones na just mouth them get

In 2015 nobody knew Rice but alot of people knew KC. That is a fact na what is the argument about?

In 2019 most football fans know Declan Rice and very few have even heard of Kelechi Nwakali.

The U17 is a good starting point but fame comes from regularity on tabloids. The U17 can not give that because it is just one tournament.

The Afcon Squad release by the coach is a good one no doubt but there Achille's heel at the mundial will still be Uzoho and our fullbacks.

If Brendan Rodgers is as good tactically as you have been wanting us to believe, he would have managed the team better after Suarez left.

The same Brendan Rodgers that became bereft of ideas after narrowly losing the league. How can one go from almost winning the league playing beautifully to struggling for 6th position in just a season?

He was abysmal in the first few months of his last season that Liverpool had to sack him.

It happens once in a while. Peter Bosz who was magnificent with Ajax and led them to the Europa league final was appalling at Dortmund. Same goes to Klopp who had a poor run at Dortmund that led to his sack. That does not mean they are poor managers.

Rodgers this! Rodgers that! like he is one tactical genius.

Is it not the same Rodgers that messed up in his last season with Liverpool. A manager who thought players like Balotelli, Borini and Benteke were the perfect replacement for Luis Suarez.

Make we hear word abeg grin

This same Rodgers lost 6-1 to Stoke city oh! Stoke city of all club.. The good Joe keep calling him a genius and I just dy smh dy look am...Rodgers would succeed at a mid table team like Leicester cus his attacking style of play suits them..at best he would secure them an Europa league spot.. His player management issue is the problem...once he grows impatient with a player he discard them..

The good Joe think we can be fooled by Rodgers's praise singing of Iheanacho to the British press.

Guys, don't rule Ghana out. Those guys are fighters on the field.

They are not like our boys. They have a very good fighting spirit.

Yes, they have not won it since 1982, but Ghana will always be an issue in every AFCON.

Super Falcons broke my heart yesterday.

Positives from the match:

1. Francisca Mrumun Ordega - The most exciting player for the Super Falcons.

2. Chidinma Okeke - Has the balls(brains) to go far in the game if she puts her head down.

I wish she starts in our next match.

Rohr has got balls. I do not think that any local coach would have CALLED IHEANACHO..THEN DROP HIM...INSTEAD HE WILL NOT BE INVITED AT ALL...

Kelechi must wake up and put Rohr to shame if he is serious....

I think that Iheanacho is better as a midfielder he was... before Man City converted him to striker

As a striker he needs for effort...

Shehu is going as a back up...

Overall..this essentially our world cup team...at this African level...our `experience`is added advantage...therefore we will play as we did in the world cup qualifiers...

Arguing with the Good joe is futile

Even as a Liverpool fan since 2001, I knew Rodgers rode on the excellent display of Suarez so much that when Suarez left, I knew that Liverpool would struggle even before the season started. And they did struggle...

My verdict on him will be out till the end of next season

You are talking from the spectacle of being a Liverpool fan forgetting Brendan Rodgers was someone who took a team with little quality talents, Swansea and played beautiful possessive football and helped them stay up. So good that he got the interest of Liverpool.

How you guys try to class him average beats my imagination.

Leicester City put 4 past Manchester City under Guardiola. Did that mean Guardiola was not a genius? You judge a coach by his history, not selected games or seasons.

How come other coaches could not attack with Leicester City if it was just that.

By the way, here are the prize monies:

1st- $4.5m
2nd - $2.5m
3rd & 4th (semi-finalists) - $2m
5th - 8th (quarter-finalists) - $800k

Noteworthy that the prize money for the AFCON winners is far less than what teams that were eliminated in the group stage at the last FIFA World Cup received ( $8m).

Pittance!!!!!

I have this concern on our set piece. I want to see some bendin freekicks in this tournament. please help us inform Rohr that we want to be seeing dreadful goals frm freekicks nd also we don't want balloon like corner kicks we want a jet like corner shoot moving with speed dat a slight heading will deflect 2 goal

Klopp was never sacked at Dortmond. He, himself called it quit having thought he was no longer the right man for the club. Dortmond Gm made it clear they would stand by Klopp no matter what.
