Few more hours to the greatest losers final game. Carthage Eagles vs Super Eagles. Which of the Eagles will get de-winged? All roads leas to thensure epic encounter. Tunisia are not taking the game lightly and may stop at nothing to ensure they defeat Nigeria and win the coveted beautiful bronze medal.

Any feelers from our camp or insight into tomorrow's lineup. Will Osihmen show the coach what he has missed, would Ogu produce another own goal assist?

Waiting earnestly for the game tomorrow so Nigerians could be proud of their team again.

even if we take 4th place is an achievement considering we've not been to two nations cup prior to now.

Let me just say that Akpeyi made a very key save earlier in the match when Omeruo lost a clearance.

Key save how? grin

That was luck on hid side. Have you forgotten Akpeyi? That had probabilistic outcome and luckily for a chancr at saving for Akpeyi standards, that was just pure luck.

No one wantw to talk of the fact that Alferia were superior tactically. Pls hype them na.

That tactics seperated a combo btw Chukwueze and Awaziem. So give em some slack.

We are stuck with Ighalo till he retires i guess. We need a 9 that reacts fast in the box.
Odion isnt that.

Overall, Rohr rohr rohr, yet he is a 2nd on all time wins with 21wins.
I pray he leaves his conservative mode though.

What a young squad.

unfortunately a lot of our fans tend to analyse issues based on hindsight and emotions if we had secured Victory against Algeria they will say the coach deployed spot on tactics.

Sylvanus Okpala is brilliant but I doubt NFF members will ever give him a chance.

Rohr said 'he is on the same page as his employers' on a Thisday article. I doubt if he's going anywhere because he was talking about 2022.
He also mentioned that players who have not played will get a chance.
https://www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2019/07/17/rohr-keeps-nigerians-guessing-on-his-next-move/

Also, it looks like Niger Tornadoes will be playing on the continent regardless of the result of the game between them and Kano Pillars. So:
CAFCL: Pillars and Enyimba
CAFCC: Tornadoes and Rangers

Brilliant how? What has he done or achieved in the last 5 years? Does he have the mental strength to resist the temptation of inducement from so called player agents? No local coach for me.

Glad for Lookman's Leipzig move finally seeing the light of day. He will become Nigeria's 2nd most expensive player in history in terms of transfers.
I hope this Post-Mikel era sees us bring him into the Super Eagles fold to further enhance our wicked pool of wing options.

Congrats in advance Lookman.

charlesemeka85:

RB Leipzig are poised to break the Nigerian transfer record for a winger with Everton reportedly agreeing to sell Ademola Lookman to the German Bundesliga club.

According to Sky Sports UK, the deal taking Lookman to RB Leipzig is worth up to £22.5m and might be finalized as early as Wednesday, July 17.

The costliest transfer involving a Nigerian winger is Ahmed Musa's switch to Leicester City in the summer of 2016, with CSKA Moscow pocketing £16.6 million from the deal, meaning Lookman's return to RB Leipzig is set to surpass that fee.

The 21-year-old already played for RB Leipzig in the second half of the 2017-18 season and was directly involved in nine goals (5 goals, 4 assists) from 11 appearances in the German top flight.

He saw his first-team opportunities limited upon his return to Everton last season, making only three Premier League starts and played 18 games off the bench.

If Lookman's transfer to RB Leipzig goes through, he is expected to feature in the group stage of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in his career in the new season.

We always take our games seriously even against Madagascar although we thought to give game time to some players. We are well motivated to win against a Tunisia who are ranked higher than us”.

” This team is still very young & deserves to continue together. I think we will see all 23 players play even though they might not start

Which one b ranked higher than us

He has already given an excuse for any potential loss. If we lose, Tunisia is ranked higher, if we win, great. I don't know what to call that man
