SA is like an olodo child , no matter the amount of Extra lesson teachers the patent gets for him,he will always fail in class.

the south African FA is one of the most organized , if not the most organized in Africa. Administratively, the got everything right. They have the best facilities, good leagues and the likes, but they have shitty players that always make those things go to waste.

Imagine Nigeria having half if the organization that they have, we would probably be ruling African football by now.

Despite the fact that our league is not great, yet we've done well in this past years in CHAN competitions, even getting to the finals twice in the short span that the competition started.

The SOuth African FA will just be trying but the talent is obviously lacking.

Someone even said that SA can't qualify for any competition unless they host grin
That is how bad it has become
grin Timi u just wicked fa

you can't judge with a single match which i doubt if the reporter saw the full match. moreover etebo is among the finest we can boast of in the midfield in europe so if aribo is as good as etebo he is then good addition to the eagles set up.

i have seen him play before coming up with my verdict. this lad is a diamond in the rough and my greatest happiness is the leap he has made so far in his young career with the tendency to get better in the nearest future. from what i noticed in his game he is an explosive midfielder with strength and good skill set. if rangers are not convinced with what he has to offer i doubt he will be getting 20k pounds weekly which is a huge sum for a player coming straight from league 1.

and not only that he has been ever present pick for the gaffer right from preseasons games and uel qualifiers till today he debuted in the league. lets wait and watch how things unfold though but from my observation so far the lad will be a gret addition to our team
I watched 45mins(2nd half) and I didn't watch with any form of prejudice as it was my first time seeing him play. I just gave an opinion of what I saw, am not judging his destiny abeg. grin

The guy has good ball carrying ability & great work rate. Not afraid to drive or shoot but his distribution in the 45mins I watched was average. I trust he'd develop under Rangers, he seems to be liked by Gerrard.

thank God you noticed something positive about his game.i never said he is world class or finished product yet but a diamond in the rough who has the qualities to metamorphose to a better midfielder in the future.

and from what you saw do you think he is not good enough for the super eagles?

I summed up the "positives" in comparing him to Etebo na grin
He has potentials [am hoping to see other CM options to compare]

if rangers makes it to uel league group phase and he performs well i see no reason why he wont get a look in. if a players from the Israeli league have been given a chance i see no reason why a good performer from the scottish league in a position where we lack quality personnel wont get a chance. moreover he plays for Glasgow Rangers which with celtic are the finest in the Scottish top flight not kilmanock, hearts or falkirk

Samuel kalu did well in Belgium league that is far better than Scotland and was not called till he joined the French league

What's makes you think aribo will be different and he plays in a lower league ?

Like I said if he is called up I have no problem with that

Mind you we have a central midfielder in laliga

Sorry bro but the policy never changes. Rohr is similar to sir Westerhof in one aspect. Just like Westerhof, he doesn't invite new players unless they are improvements on what he has already. We dont want another Etebo, we want an upgrade on Etebo, and if Aribo doesnt promise that, forget it.

We need players that can bring something different from what we have already

Emm, I think two out of the four midfielders we took to the AFCON just retired, so won't we be needing replacements or reinforcements for the already lean department?

While other youngsters would be showing off babes and baby mamas, expensive chains, clothes, wrist watches and other frivolities like bikinis in clubs, after a lil fame. Look who Chuks is showing off.

It reeks of lack of focus and unseriousness. Been the bane of young footballers from time immemorial. Isaac Success, Kelechi Nwakali, even Iheanacho et al have all suffered from this.

Check out the career of the internet sensation, Nwakali with his show offs, compared to Chuks and Osimhen his mates (the three best players of our 2015 U17 squad)

Ebuehi Eyes 1st Trophy As Benfica Face Sporting Lisbon In Portuguese Super Cup Clash
Nnamdi Ezekute 19 hours ago

Super Eagles defender Tyronne Ebuehi will look to win his first trophy with Benfica who will take on Sporting Lisbon in the Portuguese Super Cup clash today (Sunday) at the Estadio Do Algarve, Sao Joao da Venda, reports
Completesports.com .

Ebuehi missed the whole of last season after copping a cruciate ligament injury in training following his move to Benfica from Dutch club ADO Den Haag.

He has since recovered from the setback and featured in two pre-season games for Benfica.
The injury also forced him to miss out on a place in Nigeria’s squad to the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

A good run of games with the club could see Ebuehi make a comeback to the team.
Benfica won the Portuguese league title last season, while Sporting Lisbon were crowned the FA Cup Champions.

I have no problem if rohr calls aribo

But are you sure rohr will look at the Scottish league ?

In the first place we are looking at INVITATION it's after performance we can have SELECTION.

If we can players coming from the Nordic leagues and even lsreali leagues. Then him playing for Rangers should not be an issue. Otherwise that's simple hypocrisy and double standard.

I have watched Aribo and I think he can bring a decent passing range, aggressive determination and some physicality but outstanding skill, technicality and being a CM to control the midfield for me a big NO.

You need different types of players to make a good team. He reminds me of Dickson Etuhu and Seyi Olifinjana who is now an academy coach at Wolves.
