I really don't know when we'll start commenting without doing so base on sentiment and emotion. The man said "YOU and I"; which include himself. After all, that is his ministry and those who he referred to as YOU work under this same ministry. Fashola is only attributing the faults and those responsible for providing electricity, which makes him more responsible.

Nigerians are incredibly dumb sha. These same silly youths will be shouting that there is no work when the fact is that most of them are unemployable. Did you clowns even bother to read what Fashola said? He was addressing electricity workers and he said it was their fault i.e. Fashola's and the electricity workers'..

Is it Fashola dat we hear wrote SSCE four times and has given us nothing but darkness and unwarranted billings since he assumed office as Minister of Darkness that isnt incredibly dumb and unemployable? Which "work" is Fashola doing to justify the huge salary he receives? If he was "working" there will be constant power in Nigeria like there is in civilised coiuntries. Whoever he was addressing is not relevant. Fashola is the actual clown here. He said providing power is not rocket science during their campaign but alas! Minister of Power who only provides darkness. Abeg let there be light joor!! NONSENSE!

Many places is no place, mention places

My place/house. Around August 2014, we had between 16 and 18 hours daily. With a rechargeable fan, there was never heat in the few hours of no light. Freezer was intact too. Friends from across town had minimum 14 hours. The occasional 12 hours in outside town/suburb home of a friend was seen as really bad.

Or you dispute there were no places with up to 18 hours light in GEJ's time? shocked shocked shocked

10k a month as darkness bill. Imagine the conconbility. grin grin cheesy

Some private school teachers get 7.5k per month.
Some hotel staff get 8k per month.

Buhari wants to rubbish Fashola's hard earned reputation. Fash is even exonerating GMB. A man who allowed ministries to run rudderless, with minister for 6 months. No sense of urgency.

Kaduna Mafia would love this. This acceptance of failure just pushes him further away from potential presidency.

It's only normal people point fingers at PMB. It's not his fault though but only few people would recognize that. The already decayed past government made Nigeria the way it is presently with little or no co-operation from those who ought to contribute their quota.

Such a messed up country. It's a sorry situation anyway. I can only hope it gets better.

...and also makes buhari as 'most responsible' for d failure of power sector. So bros, we ultimately blame buhari as he has failed. Aftrall, wen d tenure jst started n d power was a bit stable, we all said it's buhari's body language. No1 said it's fashola's body language. Nw dat it has gone bad, it's now 'buhari's body odour' dat caused it.

Without policy and proper plan on ground, how do they wish to achieve that Oga? By prayers in Jerusalem or stoning satan in Mecca?

Just be sincere with yourself, are you happy with the situation of things presently in Nigeria.

The funny thing is that if we employ one oyibo to run this ministry, he will bypass all these grammar and focus on harnessing abundant energy ( solar, that is) into electricity. Imagine the solar energy being wasted in the North alone. But Fashola and co. are busy chasing 1960s technology. Why can't Africans be pioneers in any technological advancement? We are waiting for others to develop and then import. Yet Africans are quick to argue that all humans are equal--available evidence continues to prove otherwise. The Asians and the West prosecute criminals but Africans elevate criminals to mini-gods and worship them accordingly. Even when caught in the act, African criminals unabashedly bake in the glory of their invicibility with the goading of impoverished masses.

Education has been equally advantageous and disadvantageous to Africans. The curriculum seems to be anchored on "educated to feel inferior".
