Saraki should be allowed to continue because his trial is political as we can see, instead of convicting him, what we keep hearing is RESIGN UR SEAT.
Trust me if Saraki had allowed the tin gods to their puppets as senate president,we wont be hearing of this things.
If pmb isn't a hypocrite he should send efcc after every public official of the past government both those in pdp and pdp(apc)

Tins we need to learn from saraki speech.

This is an insult to nigerians. ( a man dat does not respect his public post, how can he respect nigerians who voted for him?)

Saraki is greedy

we have a weak constitution

saraki is not pressurize enough

APC and PDP are playing serious politics with saraki position.

Nigerians are not fools.

I predict that Saraki and his senators would fight back soon. Expect an impeachment notice to the president in the coming weeks. Remember, I said this on this forum!

Impeachment notice to be supported by how many shameless senators? The 'people' are watching in HD. Remember anyim pius, okadigbo and the likes...this one too will go down and nothing will happen. He can only frustrate the president if he manages to escape this...and there are two things involve either with the president's help ( which would be used to buy his loyalty) or by himself. The latter will be very hard considering the evidences against him.

Sarakis resignation will cost the APC the No 3 citizenship because he would ho with at least 15 senators who will add to the number of pdp senators and snatch of the population of APC in the super chambers.

That is true o ! But it seem that is elementary politics thought from you , if you know the power of Nigerian executive you will not be saying this . Most if not all of these senators have sceleton in their cupboard , and they know this quite well . Any attempt to do as you say will have Efcc knocking at their door.

Continue to wait! saraki is a far more formidable politician than ur local champion Tinubu!! He is going no where
It is not good to argue with a man who has made up his mind, but when the chips are down and reality seeps in, there will be nobody to tell a man holding the fish tail what to do. It is a pity Saraki is the cause of his problems due mainly to his greediness. He killed himself with being too ambitious.

All those saying silly things would demand justice and fair hearing one day.Just today David Cameron admitted getting some profit from an offshore company no one has asked him to resign. The law is clear you are innocent till proven guilty.

Not when you've finally been indicted.
The US senate is been controlled by the opposition(Republicans).
The Nigerian senate should be manned by the Opposition(PDP)
*
Benefits:
1. Having the opposition control the legislature, will keep the executive ruling party on their toes. They'll strive to be even more efficient, accountable and swift in the implementation of working policies.
2. It strengthens true Democracy and competition.

U.S Senate President is also an unrepentant crook too and his fellow Legislators steal every penny meant for the development of the Nation, right?

The most dangerous person to deal with is a person without shame,& that's what Saraki is. Prime minister involved in the so called Panama papers has resigned & here's our senate president, despite legal walls closing in on him, still maintain innocence in the face of overwhelming evidence. He will find out the hard way that pride goes before a fall.
