omonnakoda: No, those exams ( WAEC, JAMB and Unity schools) are not politicized hence the Igbos dominance. Your exam list is politicized, as it had to be vetted by the FG. Now cry me a river. |

Its such a shame that this thread has been derailed. I was expecting Seun to barn some people, but it seems like him and his moderators are biased/tribalist. The high level of ethnocentrism i see here is bad. I am proud of the selected representatives, every tribe is blessed i must say. looking down on the igbos is a shameful act because this same tribe after the civil war were given little to start life with, yet they are trying their best to succeed. And people that have had favour from the FG from time immemorial are mocking them and raising unnecessary comparison? hmmm Now, you want oduduwa country because you feel you are more sophisticated and igbos are primitive, why not fight for it. you shout ONE Nigeria, when IPODs protest and are indirectly helping you to achieve odua country and u are happy when they are killed. yes they are chestbeaters, but can you survive being treated and called a second class citizen? hmmmmm. what do we want? we call ourselves Nigerians, but hate ourselves. 1 Like 1 Share |

omonnakoda: He wasn't lying, he just believed your FG sent the best as would have been done in sane climes, how could he have known that the selection process was probably influenced by ethnic and political factors? Yes JAMB and WAEC are not vetted by anyone, I mean to what's end? There is nothing to gain by doing so. |

Bigot See how Yorubas dominate the list? 18 Ibos 33 Yorubas Proud omo Oduduwa. This one can't be manipulated with miracle centers The brilliant and unbeatable Yoruba nation deserves its own country. Nigeria is holding us back. No nation is like ours. No nation can have an equal number of Muslim and Christians and still be tolerant and peaceful. May Oduduwa continue to smile down on his children. osicom: Yorubas and Igbos have been like that with each other from the very beginning and I doubt it will ever stop. I have told them to bury the hatchet but I don't see it happening any time soon. Honestly, the emergence of Cownu and IPOB made things worse between the two tribes. |
Re: Nigerians Selected For 2016 Mandela Washington Fellowship by IamAtribalist: 3:04pm On May 08, 2016 |
FanYogo haba take it easy now you don't have to rub IPOB's face in it. But truth be told the Yorubas are whopping everybody's a$$ in this country. It is left for the rest of us (other tribes especially Northerners) to wake up and compete better. And that is what will make this country better in the long run. All these online insults is counterproductive. And Igbos should not be ashamed of been No.2 afterall the Hausas are the most populated should be no.1. |

I am amazed at times but Igbos have turned Yorubas to what Yorubas detested culturally..chest beating..TISU ENI BA TA,A FOWO BO JE NI...Yoruba elders in the house can correct me if I make any mistake in that proverb. But I do think like somebody said that it is a game of wits.Truth be said there is none..I respect all the other tribes..that had gotten the achievements of the Yorubas..in the olden days and now... All Nigerians are doing great home and abroad.I read somewhere that the best and brainiest family in USA or is it UK, was a beautiful Edo family. In education, happenings have shown that the Yorubas are tops while the Igbos are behind them. This list confirms the superiority of the Yorubas in anything related to intelligence and brain (or cunning..which is extra smartness ).Both tribes are very good but I have seen that Yoruba just always has an edge. The criteria for picking them is that they should be between the age of 25 to 35 years and must have a proven record of service to their communities.
