What exactly does Nigeria need an apology for? Yes we are fantastically corrupt and Buhari also confirm that at same event so no Nigeria does not need an apology. What we need as a nation is to make corruption unattractive and difficult and this also involves the support of foreign nations to stop the stashing of stolen funds. Over time we will get our reputation back, we don't need an apology. What's the point of an apology when everyone knows we are really corrupt and they all say it, only difference is they were not caught on camera. Even if Cameron apologises now, do you think people will say ah Nigeria is not corrupt? Besides based on how contexts of the conversation this has been unecessarily blown out of proportion by the British press. bishophenry: 6 Likes |

PMB should know that Britain did not force or beg those thieves to steal and bring the loot to their country. And I bet it won't be easy to get those funds and property back. Documentation were signed and you don't know whose name were written as the owner. The UK is benefiting from our corruption. I pity PMB in this corruption fight. |

Thank God for a president who is not mentally lazy, unlike the Otuoke shoes collector. Without any doubt, Nigeria is blessed with a real leader who is completely determined to get this country back on the map. We are starting to witness the respect we deserve outside Nigeria. President Buhari's response is not only clever, but also shows that his state of mind is accurate....I can not ask for more. Bravo! 9 Likes |

Why demand apology for a statement that is true?demanding such will be like trying to bend the truth. Try to support our president. He does not have a zoology phd but he clearly does not reason like an ediot. Would apology put food in the stomach of hungry nigerians? Would an apology fix our roads and build refinary ? I have a masters degree but never anticipated this type of response.surely to be smart requires no degree. Mr buhari please continue your job anyone that does not like the way you are working can jump into the lagoon 18 Likes |

bishophenry: You don't tell people that you have integrity you earn it. The President responded correctly. No one demands to be respected, respect is earned. PMB by his statements tacitly implicated Britain in the corruption that has taken place in Nigeria. 2 Likes |
