I was first denied a visa at the abuja embassy on 25th July and I reapplied the next day and got my visa on the 4th of August. Am so so happy. Pls does anyone know anything about south Dakota

Very True..You will get your Quant and Verbal score immediately then the AW score 2 weeks later

I want to register for SAT in port harcourt with this agent "EXAM PLANET" I know their main office is in Lagos.....I hope dis people no get bad name oooo my people, Lagos based , has any1 eva had bad experiences Wit them before? Contributions please.........

Hi all. Please, does anyone have an idea of the extra luggage charge for Emirates. I checked online but apparently the rate will be made known at the check-in counter. I've got a number of heavy books and study materials I don't wanna leave behind. Thanks.

According to Emirate website

Excess baggage rates at the airport
Price per piece: USD 175 (plus applicable taxes) if paid at the airport ..... USD 158 if paid online ....
So that the estimate per extra bag up to 23 kg .......

The first one goes thus:
Though it was with a very wicked lady that rejected almost all the pple she interviewed.
Me : good morning
VO: good morning,pls may I have ur passport and i20
Me: okay (gave them to her)
VO:so y do u want to go to Black Hills state university
Me: for my masters
VO: did u apply to any other schools
Me :yes
VO:so y choose this one
Me:it's the school that gave me admission.
Have u ever travelled outside nigeria?
Yes, gambia and senegal

Who is paying for ur tuition
My mum
What does she do?
She is into fabric sales and distribution
So did u take the GMAT test
Nope (said so cos the score was low and I didn't go with it)
Sorry u do not qualify for visa to the United states,Goodluck

The second one
I still fell into the hands of the lady but she asked me to go to someone else since she spoke to me the last time.
So I went to the only guy there

Me: with smiles) good morning sir

Him: good morning,can I have ur passport and i20 pls (with smiles)

Me : yes ,and I gave them to him

Himstudied the i20 for some time and asked) y do u want to go to Black Hills state university?

Me: am going for my Masters.

Okay,Masters in what?

Business administration and management

Okay,what did u study at undergraduate level?

Accounting.

Did u apply to other universities?

Yes,western Oregon university

So y did u choose this school?

It's the school that offered me admission

How did u find out about the school?

Found out about the school through education USA in lagos and went online for further research, so u can say I got to know about the school from both.

Alright did u write the GMAT or GRE?

I did write the GMAT and toefl (I decided to go with it even if I was low)

Can I see it?

Yes,here.

(He studied for some time and said "cool" so what have u been doing since after graduation? (Mind u I scored 370)

Been working at AB microfinance bank.

Good, so who is paying for ur tuition?

My mum.

What does she do?

She is into fabric sales and distribution.

Okay good, ur visa is approved and it will be ready in 2 business days. Have a nice stay in the US
Then he gave me a white paper and a small slip asking me to follow the instructions on the smaller one on the things I need to present at the point of entry over there.

Pls I need to know, when will it be ready for collection since it was approved on Thursday.

It's not necessary but its advisable, they are the same people on the admissions committee reviewing applications. make a good impression and they will advocate for you to be accepted.

You can't call the lady at first interview wicked with that random answer you gave. Nothing was outstanding in your choice of school.
