Once the spiritual life of a people becomes organised it will invariably become corrupt and corrupting. Authentic spirituality is free, spontaneous and dynamic. Churches are graveyards. There is no mandate any where in the new testament to 'form' churches. Preach the Gospel, that's the mandate. The real God of the churches is not God per se nor Christ but money, money money. Adeboye worships money, oyedepo worships money, oritsejafor worships money. Big pastor, small pastor bow before the altar of money. Bring tithes, first fruits, offerings, building offering, sacrificial giving etc all amounts to money. You will never know how utterly false this church thing and all it entails is until you summon the boldness to walk away from it. Consider this little point: mankind has existed at least 7000 years while the church has been in existence for about 2000 years. And all that time before the coming of church, men lived and died, men married, started families, built cities, fought battles, conquered nations, laughed, mourn and generally danced to the rhythm of life. Consider that Abraham, Isaac and Jacob never attended church yet at least by the record of your Bible they all had personal and fulfilling interaction with God. Consider that a vast majority of people live meaningful lives without the baggage of the stiff rotteness called church. People wake up! It's all about control, thievery and spiritual destruction. I say this with all seriousness. What do you think the mystery of babylon mentioned in the book of Revelation is? Some said it's the Catholic Church. Truth is, it's all churches! The churches will be the steps on which the antichrist will mount to his throne. If you are looking for the place where the spirit of the antichrist dwells in fatness look no further than the churches on your street. They have usurped Christ. It's all a Thing made up by man, sustained by man and controlled by man. Abandon it and you will find freedom.
