Organizers should better emulate wimbledon by providing a cover-roof to avoid match delays or distraction. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Borat1: 1:33pm On Sep 12, 2009 |
Thats why it called the US OPEN He he! |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 2:56am On Sep 13, 2009 |

Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by RuuDie(m): 6:22am On Sep 13, 2009 |
C2H5OH: The rain-delayed set was a walk-over: Nadal v. Gonzalez = 6-0 |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by rasputinn(m): 12:33pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
~Borat~: Hehehehe hahahaha LOL |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by rasputinn(m): 12:36pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
And Serena bites the dust, though she got a wrong call for a foot foul,I guess she could have handled the situation calmly rather than resort to threats and profanities.Imagine Serena threatening the line official thus "I'm going to shove this ball down your fuc.king throat" and so many other swear words BTW,I feel Kim would still have won the match;wrong foot foul or not as she won the first set 6-4,was leading the second 6-5 and 30-15 |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by RuuDie(m): 2:08pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
rasputinn: sure thing. . . she had the bit between her teeth and was gearing up for the kill - the look on kim's face suggested that she wanted to finish off the game without any assistance whatsoever! |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Borat1: 3:03pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Thats what happens when you let ur emotions control you. What an awkward way to bow out of the tournament. But everyone smashes a racket from time to time, so what the hell! |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Borat1: 5:33pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Nadal vs Del potro. . . Nadal fans come in!!! RAFAEL NADAL vs NOVAK DJOKOVIC US OPEN FINAL! Watch this space! |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 5:41pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
McEnroe threw tantrums all the time. Racket-smashing has always been a part of tennis. Not surprised. Line umpires in tennis should also receive more scrutiny. The wide-eyed Asian lady could have been racist lol Clijsters definitely won fair and square |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by tubabie(f): 5:51pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
C2H5OH:LOL. that lady had me irritated, running to the Chief Umpire like She was gonna be killed for real Serena should have used her last resolve to reign in her temper but common on! that game point was already temper soaked and stuff and well "shit" happened and she was the drama queen . Kim would have won anyway, but the call deprived us of the proper ending and a Kim celebration. |

Del Potro is schooling Nadal here. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Borat1: 6:02pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Oops! Nadal's down 5-2 in the first set. But we all know how these types of games end, no disrespect to del potro. I'm keeping my hopes reeeeeally up! |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by tubabie(f): 6:07pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Seems Nadal wants to win the hard way tonight. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by dayokanu(m): 6:07pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
And someone thinks Murray stand a chance of winning a GS in Male tennis not in Del Potros, Nadal, Fed etcs world |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by chic2pimp(m): 6:08pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
RuuDie:Well. . . . . . . . . shit happens. My girl still has 11grandslam single titles while Kim has err. . . . . . . . . one |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by tubabie(f): 6:29pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Hmmm Nadal's abdominal strain seems to be a bother, I hope he wins. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by dayokanu(m): 6:30pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
^^ Excuses already |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 6:30pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Lol Nadal getting dominated. Let the excuses begin |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 6:31pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
dayokanu: oops I posted too late. It's the abdominal strain It's the surgery He was tired |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by tubabie(f): 6:33pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Nope not excuses. Even if I wanted to on his behalf , he is not one to make excuses or place blames. Its his hallmark to fight back and hope for a win. Nadal NEVER gives excuses , so am not making one on his behalf the game is still one. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Borat1: 6:37pm On Sep 13, 2009 |

This is fun to watch. I love to see top players battle it out Wow what a nice back hand winner down the base line by Potro |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 6:41pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Another Break Point for Potro rofl |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by chic2pimp(m): 6:45pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
ANOTHER SLAM FOR FEDERER METHINKS. |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by Borat1: 6:54pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
You'd think any player who beats Nadal will go ahead to beat fed (if he reaches the finals) but no, they get so star struck they lose. But on the other hand, when fed sees Rafa he shits his pants and thats it |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by dayokanu(m): 6:54pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Del Potro up 5-2 Chimp now tell me how would Murray win a GS when Del Potro is alive and Potro is 20 years. So the excuse of age on Murrays side is unpresentable |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 6:55pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
~Borat~:Lol what a nice exaggeration |
Re: Tennis: US Open 2009 by C2H5OH(f): 6:57pm On Sep 13, 2009 |
Hahaaaaaa Potro is making this look easy oooo. Wow what skill and finesse. Triple Set Point |
