I dont see anything wrong with footing the bills 50/50, all this fuss about who pays the bill is just out of scope. It is only the millionaire type of guy that will accept to pay the full bill for u while working abroad. the average fare to naija now is roughly £800 - £950, and i know what that money can do for me in one week
