There should be AWCON qualifier for Ajibade and Ayinde to serve out their suspension before june next year , there should be Olympic qualifier also but i don't know if that counts 2 Likes |

Agree. There should be at least 2 of the WAFCON qualifiers before the WWC commences, so both ladies should be in good shape. No worries isan: 4 Likes |

isan: CAF haven't yet announced their qualifying format for the Olympic games yet..so the date isn't certain...It could be after the women world cup... Even the next AWCON, there's no designated host nation yet talkless of qualifiers format... I wish we can bid to host the next AWCON.. irrespective of the security challenges we are facing, we should be able to present Lagos, Abuja and Uyo as host venues... 2 Likes |

ceejayMAX:You can very much tell Onumonu is having a real bad day. She was the first yesterday to burst into tears after Morocco scored the last PK. So many "if I hads" crossing her mind right there. Sometimes you've got to feel for these players on what they go through after such misses. One of the squad members during Ghana's 2010 World Cup sojourn in SA during an interview was asked about the how situation was behind the scenes after Uruguay loss. He said it was terrible, that they were assigned shifts by their coach to stay in Gyan's room till the flight back to Ghana. Dude wanted to enter coma. 6 Likes |

On the other End Nigerians were left frustrated after the Moroccan fans did what they know well during the penalty shoot outs. According to the source the behaviour of Moroccans football fans has left Nigerian very disappointed and frustrated this was after dozens of green lasers were beamed into the faces of Nigerian players as they were about to take spot kicks. 3 Likes

Deltamani: I'll be surprised if the NFF lodge a complaint about this... Zambia have already lodged a complaint to CAF over the officiating of their game..Even though there's little chance anything will be done, at least it shows that they care.. 7 Likes |

BREAKING: Super Falcons Boycott Training Over Unpaid Appearance Allowance Reports emanating from Morocco in the early hours of Wednesday states that the Super Falcons players have refused a scheduled training session this morning as players were demanding the immediate payment of their appearance fees. As revealed by a close source, the NFF is understood to have promised to pay allowances at the ongoing WAFCON tournament, but the Falcons are yet to receive the promises. It is not the first time the Super Falcons and the NFF have clashed over unpaid bonuses and allowances. Eighteen years ago, the team remained in their hotel in South Africa for three days after the Nigeria FA, as the NFF was then called, failed to pay their bonuses for winning the 2004 African Women’s Championship. Nigerian teams have frequently been affected by pay disputes with coaches regularly going unpaid and players boycotting training during qualifiers or at tournaments over unpaid bonuses. The Falcons are scheduled to take on Zambia on Friday at the Stade Mohamed V, Casablanca on Friday in the bronze medal match. 1 Like |
