You are right oh. I personally want to see the 10 heads that Cameroonian ladies have that could stop us from qualifying
The truth is that the NFF really didnt want the U17 girls to go to Uruguay. They really find it hard to pay for anything as relates female football. Our U17 were good enough to beat Cameroon, but the coach is a perpetual failure. There are many many good coaches, both male and female that can develop these girls. Development is key.

God will judge the NFF for what they did to Peter Dedevbo. I think they have ruined women's football and I will always say this nff is a sexist organization who see women as people in the way of them lining their pockets.

Though the country in general has a big role to play in this decline because girls are not getting into sports anymore. There is a decline in participation and the player pool cannot be rejuvenated like it should. The government must look into this issue also

21 players are on national assignment for Nigeria in Ghana. Their objective is to ensure that the team win the trophy and also to qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup in France... For few, it is a mission impossible but for others it is achieveable. Schemerkhiz takes a look at these girls and their pedigree who open their campaign against South Africa on Sunday.

Tochukwu Oluehi
Date of birth: 18-01-1987 (31yrs)
Position: Goalkeeper
Height: 1.72cm
club : Rivers Angel, Nigeria.
AWCON Appearances: (3) 2008, 2010, 2012.
Overtime Oluehi has proved that she is competent enough to be Superfalcons first choice goalie. Luckily for her, she enjoys the confidence of coach Thomas Dennerby. The experience goalkeeper needs this tournament to prove that age is just a number. How far she would go would be determined when Nigeria takes on South Africa on Sunday opener.

Strength: Good in the air, Calm, experienced, good reflexes, good anticipatory instincts and can organize her defence very well. She is a penalty expert.

weaknesses: Fumbles when not expected , occasionally Loses her calm when under pressure.

Date of Birth: 13-12-1996 (21yrs)
Height: 1.73cm
Weight: 64kg
Club: Confluence Queens, Nigeria
AWCON Appearance: (1) 2014
With the Absence of Alaba Jonathan, the Confluence Queen goalkeeper is currently the Superfalcons second choice goalie in Ghana, she have also carved a name for her self as one of the best goalkeeper in the Nigeria Women Football premier League. Her qualities between the sticks are top notch.

Strength: Calm,Good reflexes, Full of Confident and can make multiple saves within the space of seconds

Weaknesses: Momentarily Lack of Concentration and not very much proactive.

Though that wasn't a right penalty call against Cameroon because it was outside the box.But a well deserved red card due to the karate kick..

Cameroon players, helping the referee help USA.

Chiamaka Nnadozie
Date of Birth: 18-12-2000 (17yrs)
Height: 1.79cm
Weight: 62kg
Club: Rivers Angel, Nigeria
AWCON Appearance: None
The Former Airtel U17 Competition Goalkeeper of the year is arguably the youngest and the most inform goalie in the team. However her critics claim that Nnadozie is still not ripe for the big stage after her exploit at the U20 Women World Cup. The 17yrs old goalkeeper bring some confidence between the sticks with her breathe taking saves, She is truly a goalkeeper for the future.

strength: Tall,Young and agile, Good in the air, sharp reflexes, full of confidence, excellent grip on the ball and can command her territory well.

weaknesses: She has inexperience working against her, Her Goalkicks are sometimes poor, Need encouragement.

Damn
I never knew she was over 5’10”! She’s really tall, and should be the starting keeper. Her Woman of the match performances in 3 of the 4 matches at the last U-20 tournament should be a powerful argument for her.

But..is she really 16 cheesy

Ngozi Ebere
jersey No: 4
Date of Birth: 5-8-1991 (27yrs)
Height: 1.72cm
Club: Barcelona FA, Cyprus.
AWCON appearances: (3) 2012, 2014, 2016.
Ngozi Ebere is one of the best Left back to have played for the Superfalcons. The overlapping Left back is full of energy and has the ability to deliver defence splitting pullout.
Among close watchers, the former Rivers Angel player is regarded as one of the most disciplined defenders in the country.

Strengths- Good freekick specialist, can combine her attacking and defensive duties well, confident on the ball and good in the air.

Weakness/es — A one legged player

These weaknesses are really not weaknesses. At her age, her goal kicks will be poor, but with Onome and Ohale receiving balls from her, she should be OK. I think she should be 1st choice. She is really good, better than the other 2.

Top player, disciplined and hard fighter. She should move to Sweden where the ladies play hard disciplined football. Barcelona not really helping, apart from champions league matches.

Sarah Nnodim
Jersey No: 20
Date of Birth: 25-12-1995 (22yrs)
Height: 1.59cm
Club: Nasarawa Amazon, Nigeria.
AWCON appearances: None.
The former Falconets defender is known for her fearless and disciplined way of defending her territory, she is a difficult defender to get past and can play in any position at the back.
The Nasarawa Amazon defender would however be contented watching the matches from the bench as there is no way she can wrest the central defence position from Onome Ebi and Osinachi Ohale.

Strengths—Very good marker, confident on the ball, very Fast and a good team player.

weaknesses --- Small in height.

Osinachi Ohale
Jersey No: 3
Date of birth: 21-12- 1991 (26yrs)
Position: Defender
Height: 179cm.
club: Vaxjo DFF, Sweden.
AWCON Appearances: (3) 2010, 2014, 2016.

Ohale has been nicknamed “Woman Mountain” by former Abia State Governor, Orji Uzor Kalu. This was after an impressive outing at the women junior championship in Germany which she repeated at the Africa Women Championship. The former Delta Queens of Asaba defender showed great confidence at the AWCON in 2010 that policing Equatorial Guinea’s Salimata Simpore in the final game posed no problem. The player who is blessed with good height have been a suitable replacement for ex-captain Kikelomo Ajayi.

Strengths—Strong and agile, Very disciplined defender, committment is great, good speed, tight marker and good aerial abilities, difficult to get past and a player every team needs.

Weakness/es —momentary lack of concentration.

Onome Ebi
Jersey No: 5
Date of birth: 08.05.1983 (35yrs)
Height: 178 cm
Weight: 66 kg
Position: Defender
Club: Henan Huishang FC, China.
AWCON Appearances: (5) 2008, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016.

The Super Falcons Captain made a big move to Chinese side Henan Huishang, for an undisclosed fee after enjoying a good spell in the Swedish and Turkish topflight. However, this could be the last AWCON for the decent 35years old ex-Delta Queens player who has paid her dues.

Strengths—Experience, Good game reader, Fearless, long kicks, Good in the Air.
Weakness/es —Average speed, poor reaction
