I have sent the domain stat or metrics to him, prepared lead and even sent him the link to the domain but he keeps ask for check. What is check? How do u do this?

Probably referring to Nigerian's cashier's check (cheque) fraud of the early days of 4 1 9. Don't be discouraged. Leave him and move on.

Those familiar with Name/com, do they have free whois privacy attached to their domains?

He is asking you to send him a cheque.
Check is the American version.

In other words, himself is looking for whom to give him money
and not who he will pay. lol
