I've had many interactions with him before he changed his WhatsApp number.

He's ready to buy God.com for $1, he'll devalue your asset and throw you peanuts.

He's a foolish buyer unlike others that buy your name at standard retail market price.

That's my personal experience with him, not once or twice, no beefing whatsoever.

Although, once you finally agree to sell your name at any price, thats your problem, but he can always do better.

Domain is a venture that requires patience, not everyone has the patience especially when you have so much domains in your portfolio to renew. So, I don't really blame those who sell their domains at cheaper rates.

As for the symphony name, It's possible such name was acquired through auction.

You don't get, he'll approach you from the position of been desperate or that you urgently need money when you present name to him and milk you from that angle, despite knowing its quality and the amount it should go for in retail.

Just pray life doesn't happen to you that you will become desperate for cash.

Beginning of last year January my dad(may his soul rest in peace) became very sick and we rushed him to the hospital that was when our life turned, everyone in my family for the worst. I broke my savings and was desperate for cash because everyday our hospital bill keep increasing. His heart and kidney were failing and he needed his oxygen and treatment.

When I had exhausted my savings I turned to my domains and business. I was all over namepros, Epik and telegram marketplace looking for buyers to sell at wholesale. Sold my bb portfolio and all my owned SH and some of SH owned names. I was selling at 9-99$ for quick cash and those I was not able to sell expired or I gave it out to friends. Today I owned zero domain and 60 SH owned names.

Based on your comment maybe I am one of the foolish domainers. Who knows, maybe my desperation took me to Abdul inbox or he was among those that purchased my domain at wholesale.

Do I regret my actions? No, I needed the money and I got it and I don't care how much my buyer sell it later.

He DIDN'T acquire symphony.com through auction. I remembered clearly when he sold symphony.com for 375k. Namepros members asked him how did he acquire it? He said through private deal.

For how much? Abdulbasit refused to say the price till today. Why? Because he definitely acquired it very cheap as usual and too embarrassed to say the acquisition price.

While I don't think his act is necessarily fair (if true), I can't blame him. Those who sold to him at lower fee should blame themselves - after all, they accepted the offer.

In this world, we are responsible for our actions. And people are not always fair.

Rather than sell a .com for less than $10 at this stage, I'd let the name expire or give it out.

You're right. Of course such domain wasn't acquired through our usual reg. fee.

Even rich domainers dey sell domains at wholesale for peanuts. Not about being a mumu or not. Sometimes it's about liquidity, methodology, strategy and free will; sometimes duress. I've liquidated some of my brandables names during duress as well it's all part of the game. Not everybody want to play the long game. Some are just ok with little wins here and there.

Then provide the chat support with the email, phone and name. Then tell the end user a broker will be in touch via email soonest. Remember to be polite. I've had Dan close couple of deals for me similar scenarios.
