preeky: Doctor please help,Three months ago I started developing some swellings which increased in numbers weekly. They were on my bottom, the hind thighs, back of hands and legs save for my stomach, neck and face.Since they were not painful I ignored for over one month and by the time I was refered to the dermatologist the swellings had gotten infected and were so painful like boils especially the ones on my front thighs. The skin specialist confirmed it was PRURIGO and recommended tests i.e HIV,haemogram and blood sugar and the results showed no infection hence she prescribed topical antibiotic steroid and also advised I could just have antibiotic of which I popped a few and after some days the things started drying up but at a very slow rate,As of now they have left me with very black and pinkish marks but my fear is them reccuring.I would like to prevent such an infection unfortunatley no much information about prurigo on google.Kindly what can I eat or do to prevent a relapse cos I fear. For several weeks I dress in leggings and long sleeves to hide these stubborn marks and the skin specialist did not help me much

Of recent, I am always hungry. ALWAYS. I haven't dewormed myself in years, so I did so a couple of days back but the problem still persists. I try to munch on nuts and fruits to stave it off, and it works for about an hour, then the hunger comes back with a vengeance. What do I do? I can't afford to keep eating all the time because I'm on the big side so I really need a solution.

smartireke: Pls i need a prescription for constipation.
Any laxative will take care of constipation. There are a myriad of them. Epsom salt, glauber salt, bisacodyl, castor oil or Imodium. Go to a nearby Pharmacy and let the pharmacist guide you.

Well, what drug did you take when you dewormed? I personally feel you need psychological therapy than pharmacological therapy. You need to train ur vagus nerve.. This is one trick.. U won't die if u don't eat when u're hungry shey? At least people fast for 40 days without dying.

Thank you Joshua. I dewormed with Pyrantrine.

I haven't been feeling this way before. Sometimes I eat once a day without going hungry in between, so when I suddenly began to ALWAYS feel hunger, I put it down to Godzilla-sized worms undecided

is ths urs? As in Adult female?
Anyway, if the owner is an adult, she is anaemic, there is an unequal variation in the size of red cells. The blood level as recorded by the PCV is too low. This is dangerous. Must be experiencing fainting attacks. There is malaria pigments too. Take blood capsules daily to boost ur blood and take malaria drugs. See a doctor for more prescription.
All is well

Pls do not use the liquid iron and an anti malarial drug at the same time. U might want to suspend d liquid iron.. Start d malaria treatment then continue wif ur liquid iron.

Well, I'll advise u to try levamisole or albendazole. Worms r not the only cause of hunger tho. I'll also advise that u change ur diet, eat less fatty foods, snacks and sugary food, check ur body mass index at a nearby hospital to make sure u're not obese cos obesity is a serious risk factor for diabetes. U'll still need to talk to a doc tho.

Noted.

What do you mean by fatty foods? I also don't eat snacks (buns, doughnuts, chocs, ice-cream etc), I barely take sugary foods, save for the occasional gari and tea and there is no case of diabetes in my family history...
