deantimes: Educate yourself before contributing to sensitive issues in other not to get yourself into trouble like Apostle Suleiman. For a speech to be deemed as inciting violence, it has to be directed at a group of people, ethnicity, religion, tribe etc. While El-rufai's statement was not directed at any group, tribe, religion or ethnicity in particular, that of Apostle Suleiman was directed at Fulani herdsmen and can be categorised the same as that of Nnamdi Kanu (directed at Yorubas and hausas) and Abubakar shekau (directed at Christian's and Muslims who take them as friends). You can now see that Apostle Suleiman is in the same category as Nnamdi Kanu and Shekau. The fact is that his lawyers will have enlightened him as to the realities and consequences of his infamous speech. That is the reason why he has been trying to do damage control since the attempted arrest by reframing his statement and claiming he was quoted out of context. |

DSS are not even intelligent at all. They should have quietly invited him to clarify himself first. If he refuses, then you can gat a warrant of arrest. Now they have spoilt the whole thing from the onset. I wonder why they keep acting like the NPF. There is certainly nothing intelligent about how they have been approaching matters in this country. Infact, they are no different from other remote-controlled Government agencies. Meanwhile, I hope all those claiming that the herdmen are from neighboring countries as well as those saying the herdmen are the victims will also be invited to explain themselves. |
