Florence Omagbemi has lost her 15-year-old son, Samson, according to reports.
It was learnt that Samson and one of his classmates drowned in a swimming pool at a hotel in Effurun, Delta State.

According to source, they had gone to for an after exams party.

The Media officer for the Nigeria U-23 team, Timi Ebikagboro, announced the boys’ death via a Facebook.

The Facebook post narrated how a teacher took JSS 3 students of Challenge International School, Kolokolo Udu Road, Warri, to Golden Tulip along PTI junction Effurun for “an after exam party.”

He wrote, “Am just in a sad mood, how on earth will a teacher take JSS students to a hotel in Effurun for an after exam party and in the end 2 of the innocent students got killed and thrown into the hotel pool, one of two dead kid is the “son” of our own Florence Omagbemi, Super Falcons head coach.

Please, I beg all of you to put her in your prayers, she needs all our support in this her trying times, I hope the Delta State Ministry of Education will act on this?”

The Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, has joined to mourn and sent condolences to Coach Omagbemi.

Last year, she led Nigeria to her seventh Africa Women Championship title in Cameroon.

French Football Federation (FFF) president, Noel Le Graet, has revealed that Zinedine Zidane in future could coach France.

Zidane who has been enjoying success in transition from player to coach, leading Real Madrid to Champions League and La Liga glory in 2016/2017.

“That is a logical continuation,” Le Graet told RMC radio.

American boxer Floyd Mayweather is set to fight UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor.

The match has scheduled on August 26 in a boxing match in Las Vegas.

UFC president Dana White, revealed that the fight will be at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and will be contested at 154 pounds.

It will be a standard, 12-round boxing match with 10-ounce gloves.

On Wednesday, Nevada Athletic Commission approved the request from Mayweather Promotions to put on a boxing card on August 26th at the MGM Grand.

It was gathered that the venue could change to T-Mobile, Yahoo Sports reported.

The bout will be distributed via Showtime pay-per-view and will be an entirely boxing card.

Mayweather Promotions will be the lead promoter.

Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Serge Gnabry from Werder Bremen.

The former Arsenal player joined the Bundesliga side for a fee in the region of €8 million.

The 21-year-old has signed a contract with Bayern until June 2020.
