if you and your girl are into oriental meals, there is a nice, quiet chinese restaurant on adeniyi jones, ikeja.

not as fancy as Jade but their food is really, really, really good (even better than some chinese restaurants in UK). nice place with courteous and friendly staff.

if you are worried about the menu, then take her to to Eko Hotel. They have buffets (breakfast, lunch and dinner). there's live band at night  

so you can sit by the pool side with your babe

or if its not private and you dont mind a busy place, The Palms, Lekki aint bad. . . U can shop or window shop for alot, eat a diverse range of meals in the food court or later in the day NewsCafe will be swell (Hold cash sha)

Igbo Lady - Take them out at your own risk. Be sure to have your ATM card at all times cos you might end up flatly broke. They prefer to go to confirmed Nkwobi/expensive joints where you go spend like die. A bottle of star should be at least 500naira or she no go like the place.
Yoruba Lady - They are a bit economical and reasonable. Just take them to the beach or their new found love, Silverbird galleria.
Hausa Girl - Meet her parents and pray you survive.
Benin Lady - She doesn't want any silly date, give her the cash!

A Thai restaurant on Wardour street.

It has fantastic food and reasonable priced. Not cheap, not expensive.

Seating is in groups round big tables. So (1) She would be forced to move and sit close to me and (2) It makes any big headed girl realise she still has a lot of work to do instead of thinking she has me in her pocket (and playing silly games) as I am keeping it casual and not too romantic. Although the close sitting forces good convo and familiarity. ^{Some girls are just poor conversationist and get on my nerves.}

This is for first date. Based on how she plays it, we can start moving it more romantically.
