is it necessary I upload my statement of account at the GTE stage.

I think you might be asked to do that if you haven't uploaded it yet during the interview. Just wait for the green light from them before doing it.

Preparation for life will most likely be an approved naija agent.

My school referred me to them. Search for their contact in your location... ibadan, abuja, ikeja, vi, lekki. Etc.

What you're asking for is too much..... Use Google to get the basic info. then you can ask questions on what you don't understand.

Hi All

This question goes to anyone studying currently in CDU.

Did you have to use an agent/. I just got a response from the school after submitting my application that I need to use an agent.

What do you advise please?

In such case you may want to contact Australian embassy in Philippines:

https://philippines.embassy.gov.au/mnla/contact-us.html

They will be in a better position to assist you. Your case is kinda rare one.
Would also like to know their response to your inquiry or better still how you managed to resolve it.

Ring them if you haven't done so
Walk into the embassy if they are close to where you live
Use a proxy to contact them.
If all fails to happen, let me know and I will help you contact them here. The only problem here is that it takes forever for you to talk to an customer care agent.

Hello gurus in the house, thank you for making life better and beautiful everyday.
Am a police officer here in Nigeria, but I intends to go for a short course in Australia in my area of specialisation, i need first hand information from people who are already in Australia to answer some of my question, the question now is :
Which schools can offer me admission for a short time course on security ?
What are the expenses I should be looking into ?
What are the required documents needed ?
What's are my chances of getting the Visa
I have travel experience but will it be a criteria, pls I need urgent and sincere answer from experience people here, thank you.

I don't want to feed wrong information. In the past it was possible for schools to waive you of English exam cum SOA and you still get your visa. Things have changed with the new govt.

Your case officer may still request for IElts/PTE and or SOA if they perceive you as a non-genuine temporary entrant. So its best you get those documents handy.

Key Australian student visa requirements:

Genuine Temporary Entrant (GTE) requirement
Financial requirements
English proficiency requirements
Health and character requirements

So handy.Thanks

Sorry I created an email for this site since Iast had a terrible experience and haven't been on it and don't have the time for now. If you leave your email here, I will get back to you.
Meanwhile, I will try ringing immigration here to see what they say and will revert to you thereafter.

Not sure what your role is in the organization but you may want to throw in some payslips and tax clearance to butress your SOA.

If you are the business owner, your registration certificate can serve as a tie back home after your studies.

http://cricos.education.gov.au/course/CourseSearch.aspx
Search your course of interest and contact them as well.

What are the expenses I should be looking into ?
Duration of study, tuition fees will directly or indirectly affect your expenses.
If your question means list of expenses? Here are some of them:
Air ticket
Accommodation
Tuition fees
Food
Transportation, depends if you wish to drive or catch the bus/train

What are the required documents needed ?
Completed Australian student visa application form (157A)
Paid visa application fee – currently AU$560 (~US$430) in most cases
Copy of passport biodata page (some students may be asked to physically provide their passport)
Certificate of Enrolment or Letter of Offer
Evidence of sufficient funds
Evidence of health insurance cover
English proficiency test results
Criminal record check results
Four recent passport-sized photographs
Recommendation lettes
Statement of purpose.

What's are my chances of getting the Visa
Submit the right documents, submit on time. Do not provide bogus documents. Pray to your God.

I have travel experience but will it be a criteria, pls I need urgent and sincere answer from experience people here, thank you.
Travel history does somehow give an edge but again if you have an irregular travel history that can implicate you. What I mean is if you are a full time employee and travel regularly not for work purpose that can raise an eye brow.

One question here, can you get sponsorship from work?

My father is my sponsor and he owns the business though I am member of the board of trustees though, we haven’t paid any tax yet, and what pay slip are you talking about because I am not being paid

I was the one you chatted with sometimes ago on this issue. Your agent is making things unnecessarily complicated for you. The SOA, letter of sponsorship and CAC document should suffice. Or is it your case officer that's requiring more evidence for source of income for your sponsor?
