Try using a carotein mix. Serums like carotein, maxi white, sure white IMO, are good activators. Try and diy something for urself with some natural ingredients.

vivy1: Please I have some questions, I would appreciate your contribution a lot.
When a visitor visa is refused to a person. Does the person has the right for administrative review I'm a bit worried as the visitor visa application is not a tier 1, 2, 4 nor 5 who can get this outright.

If by chance this person got this right for review, will the person be allowed to include new documents to clear up the areas that constitute to the rejection of the visa.

Thirdly, how long can such a person wait before reapplying for a visitor visa after refusal
Unfortunately no.

honeyoluwatoyin: hi guys, am directing my iss to @justwise and @visjustice and all other gurus.... firstly lemme tell you little about me so you dont get confused. am a trader i visit dubai quarterly, a mother but not married and also presently serving my country...my cousin invited me for her graduation ceremony lastyear nov so I used my dad as my sponsor cos i got all the document a week after i got back from dubai and i didnt have much in my personal account and i had to submit the application before i enter nysc camp in nov lastyear. i submitted.
MY COUSIN BRITISH PASSPORT PAGE
INVITATION LETTER FROM THE SCHOOL ADDRESSED TO MY NAME
INVITATION LETTER FROM MY COUSIN TO ME
2WEEKS HOTEL RESERVATION
MY DADs COMPANY REGISTRATION DOCUMENT which am one of his directors
SPONSORSHIP LETTER FROM MY DAD
MY DADs BANK STATEMENT
REFERENCE LETTER FROM MY DADs BANK
MY STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT to show frequent inflow and outflow
MY CHILD BIRTH CERTIFICATE WIT PICTURES
i stated in the application am an entrepreneurer

IN-SHORT, the ECO refused me saying...... the other directors of my dads company dint give authorization of me using the company's account and that how come i have little or no money in my account as at the time i applied...i felt bad cos it was my first time and my d excuses was so silly..
i dint get my business registered until may this year due to some unknown reasons btw diamond bank and CAC, recently i applied again, made hotel reservation cos i intend going during winter for sales, got a support from my dad duely signed by my sisters cos its a family business.attached my nysc document, i countered reasons for bin refused lastyr. i explained the reason i dint have enough money in my account then and i backed it up wit all invoices since i started travelling til date..... too bad i recieved my packet back yesterday and was refused again on some things i really dont understand.

the ECO SAID
I STATED THAT MY MOTHER WOULD PAY HALF OF THE COST OF THE TRIP AND HAVE PROVIDED HER COMPANY;S ACCOUNT, SAYING THE ACCOUNT REPRESENT BUSINESS FUNDS WHICH SHOULD NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR NOTHING OTHER THAN RUNNING A BUSINESS, THAT HES NOT SATISFY THE FUND WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR ME ,AND THAT I SUBMITTED MY PERSONAL AND COMPANY STATEMENT AS EVIDENCE OF MY FUNDS,THAT I STATED I REGISTERED MY BUSINESS MAY 2014, THAT HAVE NOT PROVIDED ANY EVIDENCE OF THE BUSINESS AND HOW MY INCOME IS GENERATED OTHER THAN THE COMPANY REGISTRATION DOCUMENT AND LASTLY THAT I STATED I WISH TO VISIT MY COUSIN BUT HAVE NOT PROVIDED THEIR STATUS, HE SAID HE NOTICED I WAS REFUSED LAST YEAR,THAT I DIDNT MENTION THAT I HAVE FRIEND OF FAMILY IN THE UK AND THAT THIS TIME STATED I WILL VISIT MY COUSIN AND HAVE PROVIDED NO EVIDENCE OF THEM.my right of appeal is limited to the grounds referred to in section 84 (1) (c)

When i saw the refusal note, i was dumbfounded cos i dont know what to say. firstly the 'MOTHER' got me confused, 2ndly i never include in my application this time around am going to see my cousin cos i submitted my hotel reservation to them, her name only reflected under the question if i have friend of family in the uk, and besides all her information was attached to my first application they refused., thirdly, all invoices that bears my name was attached to my business document,
immigration lawyer is already helping me on administrative review.....pls advice
Seems you didn't read and understand your initial refusal letter before reapplying cos u still made the same mistake of an intention to be sponsored by business funds. Truth to be told, it's same script, different actors. But you ignored the screenplay. First was ur dad, now mum. You ignored the "problematic" - using coy account for leisure WITHOUT providing reasons why it is so instead of personal account. If your cover letter didn't state that, just accept your flaws and put things right net time. Thank you.

Secondly, if you must reapply be sure to include all the relatives and close friends you know in uk and indicate whether you will visit them or not. THEN in your cover letter, draw their attention that you do/do not intend to visit these people, and if you wanna visit them, be sure to include an IV letter to support this.

Also sort out other loop holes cos these people are like eels. If you don't close all loopholes, they'll find one reason to visit past offence and connect it to present mistake and give the mixture/connection as a solid reason for refusal, which more often than not, makes sense.

One can scout for houses from naija if you're not physically present here, make a list of your ideal choice(s) and arrange a viewing, when you see, you like, you read terms of agreement, you consent, you pay, you move in. Some houses require a three months contract. So if you feel you are running out of time and can manage one for the time being, you move in there while searching for another. Because the last thing a student want is to be unsettled in the first weeks of resumption. Ask any new and past students who received their visas late about their experiences.
Also, schools do some orientation week were u meet people and if you have a strong naija community in ur uni, you can also inquire from them bout how to go about stuffs there. Be prepared to hear the "house is difficult here", or the references to expensive places from them, as many people like to make challenging things seem extremely impossible, but don't be discouraged. There're still some nice people who'll help you out. All the best to newbies on the house hunt.

esosa4real: Again kudos to @justwise, @3sha4lyf n co,, u have no idea how much info u provided free will. I already had an application buh when I visited this thread eh, I discarded that one and started afresh. @3sha4lyf I went to d vac the next day after I received email! Na today text come dey show, wen I don collect my passport....lol.
Like I saw on this thread, it's confirmed Ikeja n abuja takes a shorter time for visa processing. My visa was actually processed in 5days! VI's Teleperformance is crap 4 now!

Please to all uk first timers and fresh applicants, don't be discouraged by lies, deciet n agents! pls note the below comments.
1. Go through the comprehensive documents guidelines, make sure you have them.
2.Go through this thread thoroughly b4 u ask questions, the search button mite jux alleviate ur curiosity!
3. Make sure u fill the correct info in all honesty, if u have being denied b4, please state it and include it if it's an E-passport. (I v being denied Canada last yr).
4. Never use forged documents, I.e docs dat ve being edited offline. Even if you want to play on their intelligence, let it be legit.
5. You stand a better chance if u r employed either under someone or selfemployed. If it's ur biz u wud need a TCC! But if ur employer provides pay slips showing tax deductions, then it's okay.
Please note that it's not compulsory to be employed up to a year!
6. If u plan to attend a conference or event, ve a letter of invitation and pay for conf with proof receipt printed and added as part of your docs
7. Whether visiting tourist places or attending a conf/event, make sure ur hotel is in close proximity! Same city!
8. Be careful of Huge lodgement. Even if you attempt to lodge a huge sum in between ur monthly salaries like N500,000, be prepared to explain it, don't assume they won't see it, they wud jux refuse u wif ease.
9. Most importantly, like I was advised here, I recommend a separate typed additional letter addressed to the Entry clearance officer explaining such lodgement (in my case I told them it was from monthly friends contributions, and I was paid! Its left to God 2 judge wether na true or lie) sha have a convincing explanation!
Also in that Letter, I explained in a tabular form all deposits that entered my acc!
10. The page stating incomes n how much u plan 2 spend and all dat money talk page is very important! Fill it up having a regular british state of mind and at the same time working em out based on your account balance.

For now this is all I ve 2 say, wud be ready for any questions/comments! The ones I am not sure about, the Gurus r here!
Love Nairaland!
Well said, but with or without TCC, you may be given or refused a visit visa. Their criteria differs according to the applicant's situation. I'm sure Chrizizon didn't tender a TCC and he got his thingy. Also know someone who got his as well without TCC. The thing is if you provide sufficient docs, it can help.

I am an IT stdnt in chevron...my dad nd step mum r already citizens there...I got letter of invitation frm both...wit my dad statement of account nd while in my own part, I put my letter of employment, my IT ltter frm school nd also my statement of account on how my salary has been paid...but. Failed to put my work ID card...pls can it affect my application...I submitted on friday...pls is there any hope or chance for me to get a visa...hv nt been ok since friday...pls help
I think it's impossible for anyone here to ascertain if you'll be granted a visa or not. Recent findings have shown that what one considers to be a reason for refusal I'd usually overlooked by the ECOs especially if other bonafide documents submitted can throw more light on the applicants intentions, such that the omitted document[s] become insignificant to make a decision.

In essence, you should be more concerned bout the documents you submitted. Not sure ECO will refuse you on grounds that you failed to submit ur work id.

Trust me, right now, you don't want any1 that will tell you "it's gonna be denied" and den you get it n tag that person as prophet of doom. Lol. To the best of my knowledge, there's no ECO on this forum do you can either keep calm and positively await the visa response, or you pump in ur efforts to worry so much bout something you have little or no control over.

GeneralShepherd: Hello House ,
oga justwise and all my oda ogas in the house. Please i have a question, I got an accommodation for 85 pounds per week for a shared house at Cranfield University. do you think its a fair offer? should i seek for alternate accommodation off-campus?
Thanks in advance
Lemme add to what Justwise has written.
* Check If it's for a double room, and I mean a double room with double bed, NOT single room with double bed (sorry can't give measurements but if you search online, you'll see a standard DR and SR size)
* When JW says ALL BILLS, IT MEANS ALL BILLS! No shared bills except Council tax which of course, as a student, you don't pay. He he he.
* Also is the room let by live-in or live-out landlord? ( gosh, I hate L/I landlords, so sorry).
* is it en-suite or shared bathroom(s)? How many? As said, anything more than 3 to a house isn't worth it but you may consider if your room is en-suite. Again, try to find out if your fellow room mates are on the same (study) track with you. What I mean is, most postgrad students rarely live with undergrads because they can easily get distracted (I can't really explain this but you'll feel it when you start) and if you're one
PG student, trust me, a time comes in your studies where you need no distraction and knowing Crainfield uni for what it is, that time will come quick! cheesy
Be sure to read the tenancy agreement before you even sign or release funds. I prefer a rolling contract than a 12-month contract cos you end up worrying and searching for a new place when you should be doing your dissertation, final exams, essays, etc. So think it.

HTH as well.

Congrats, very awesome. Can't stress it enough. Truly, every individual application is treated In its own merits. Eg, not being in the employment for up to one year didn't disqualify your application.

Enjoy your conference oh. smiley

And as for the SMS, I wonder why people still pay [is it] 400 quids for that VFS SMS when the embassy actually sends you a FREE notification email when they finish processing your visa and you can just go to VFS after 3-5 days of receiving the mail and collect your passport. It's crazy, the fees, that is. That's about 100% of regular naija local SMS rates right?

myfuture: The birth year on my WAEC certificate does not tally with the one on my passport but the thing is I have been given admission by a well respected university. When I applied for admission,I submitted the WAEC certificate with the error.I am wondering whether that might still cause problem for me during registration when I arrive in the UK.
I would go get an affidavit to "notarise" the error in my waec or bc. Then whichever is correct, when I get to the uni, I'll notify them to correct their records, having in hand my sworn affidavit if they act funny.

Can I ask, do u require a visa for studies? And if you do, have u gotten one or applied for one yet? Did you use same documents and was it a problem?
TravelRe: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by 3sha4lyf: 4:28pm On Aug 23, 2014
Vicjustice: Not a bad suggestion, but remember that the rules are the rules, and they are there to observe.
Germany is a Schengen country, and therefore, it observes Schengen regulations which requires that a business must have tax compliance certificate, and also that a bank statement must have at least 6 months old transaction records.
Even if they give him grace in respect to the deficient bank statement, I don't see how he can get through with a business that hasn't complied with tax regulation: a business which is apparently registered in a hurry to get a visa.
Yeah you are very right, and I can't agree with you any less, but then not in all cases. That's why they said all applications are dealt with in their own merits. The TCC they are requesting is for the previous year which, in the poster's case, isn't possible cos his business is "in its infancy- 5 months old". So I'm suggesting that poster can note this down in the additional info section that TCC for previous year is unavailable becos business has not been in operation for up to 12 months. Except they r saying new business owners shouldn't come n "tap expertise from Schengen countries until their 1st anniversary" lol.

Also can I correct that for this Schengen visa applications, both personal and business account statements required is 3 months.

@Gbeduman, go thru this entire thread (1 to date) plus this link (see below). It'll help u with your decision.

My business name was registered in May and i have gotten a TIN number but have not paid any Tax yet so i dont have a Tax Clearance certificate. i am married with two kids, im a member of Copyright society of Nigeria and i also registered my short film with Nigerian Copyright Comission and have the NCC certificate of the short film, I have some hundreds of thousands in my Savings account but my corporate account is not up to 3 months, PLEASE I WANT TO KNOW IF I HAVE THE CHANCES OF GETTING THE VISA TO THE FILM FESTIVAL AND I WILL APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE GIVEN TO ME. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!
My take, put all the relevant docs u have, back them with supporting docs from the German host, include ur previous works or any previous awards, (German embassy may not require too many documents but you might want to highlight past and previous awards and achievements or the likes in your additional info section). I think you should be fine. All applications are delay with in their own merits so, just tidy your side well. You might wanna start by listing docs you already have from your sponsor. Hope this helps

I applied recently for d first time n in just 7 days after including weekend my application was done n it was successful.. contrary to what they told me at vfs abuja when I submitted my application that I shud be expecting feedback after 15 days as a 1st timer..they were wrong..it was out only after 7 days . I am sure visa application processing time has to do with d number of applications received by BHC n some other factors I don't know..more applications takes more time to process n vice versa. .I dont know for sure though ..just my tots
No they were not wrong... There's a business practice like "under-promise and over-deliver". In this case, they gave an estimate of 15 [workinghuh] days and processed it within 7 days so that in your head, you'll tick them as "very fast and effective", and if it takes up to the 15 days, you'll not think of them any less effective.

Some applications really do take up to 15 days and even more. My first application, was told 15 days, after 15 days with no feedback from them, I assumed they meant 15 working days... Even at that, it took 6 months for them to process my visa (trust me, it wasn't funny). On the sixth month, they called me to the embassy then on Walter carrington lagos and my visa vignette was printed there and then.

If there is any more information that you need then
please just ask.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Keith.
You've been given the info you need darling. All you need to do us text "Keith" and arrange a viewing and, like you would do back in Nigeria, you won't pay for a house you haven't seen or you're not comfi with. To be on the safe side, don't leave too much info for him to know you are abroad, cos ppl coming in are usually targets of scammers and cunny landlords who believe they are desperate. Best bet is to book a small b&b or room with no long contract, say for a week or two, while you scout for your ideal place, If Keith's house isn't suitable when you eventually see it.

Another thing you should consider even with that "refundable security deposit" scam is to ask what security scheme it's held with. It has to be a government-backed tenancy deposit scheme otherwise, when you're ready to move out and need your deposit, you go hear stories upon stories, whether you damaged stuffs or not.

Yes you are very correct. I can't stress it enough, every application is treated in its own merits. For example, people say Tax clearance certificate or what's it called, is a prerequisite for s/employed or businessmen, yet I know someone who's gotten his visa (I SAW HIS APPLICATION DOCS, I SAW HIS APPROVED VISA, AND I SAW HIM VIST AS WELL) without a tax clearance cert. my friend will say "No two pregnancies are the same". smiley.

Chrizizon: Greetings to this honorable house, please i want to know if www.wakanow.com is a reliable site to purchase int'l flight ticket from? Thanks and waiting
I would book directly with an airline. Personally, I don't like travel agency cos, except you are firm on your travel dates, you may have difficulties if you decide to change ur tickets as most times it can only be done by your travel agency. Now, imagine if you are in transit already, or if you are in a country with bout 7hrs time difference, how do u get to reach ur travel agency when they have not yet opened, and of course you don't have a personal travel agent in the agency that you can reach out to to sort it even after working hours?

In short, Travel agencies are not my favourites except I have to travel next day and can't hold a ticket online.

Before you go ahead with wakanow.com, question you should be asking [them] is for example "if I miss my flight, what does it take to get on the next available flight"

Firstly, i have to thank you for your comportment and your choice of words. Indeed, you have made my day.
I have been following this thread carefully and I have only observed one thing; some people always want to be heard and their suggestions taken and when they are not they will start fighting instead of admitting because no one knows it all except God.
Currently, I had similar case like yours;
I was issued a Student residence Permit for my M.Sc program in Sweden by the Swedish Migration Board through their Embassy in Pretoria and something happened that made me to change my mind to defering my admission for the next year Autumn Semester. So i put a call through to the Visa officer at the Embassy of Sweden in Pretoria and made my intentions known to her that i would want to place a hold on my permit or as well as re-apply next year and she replied saying:
'' Just notify me when you had reached a decision whether you would be traveling to Sweden for your programme this year or not, through a letter stating your reasons as you had explained to me, so that I would inform the Migration Board on your behalf. So that it will be understood when you apply for the Residence Permit next year''
And I asked her: Is there any possibility that it may not be given to me next year when I apply?
Visa Officer replied: Yes, that is why i must inform them when you notify me because Student Residence Permit decisions are made by the Migration Board in Sweden only and RP cards sent to us for collection.

Cutting the long story short, please 'POSTER' try and inform the embassy that issued the visa to you because they have the final say on this issue.
As a Nigerian ,don't forget that whatsoever that is worth doing at all is worth doing well!

As for myself, I ended up not defering my admission and neither did i postpone my study trip to Sverige (Sweden) as was planned.

Good luck!
May God bless Nigeria and no other place!
Very well said
The poster was smart enough to err on the side of caution.
Once bitten, twice shy, but once beaten, always alert.
Tx for this.

Lindx93, though we have discussed ur question on Whatsapp, for the benefit of those reading here, I could help buy the real Kojie san soap (as part of my group order) for N1000. Sebamed Suncare SPF30 is a smart sunblock
3sha4lyf, pls, Carotein NEVER makes/made products containing Kojic acid
Chinny702, get Carotein Lightening & Fading Gel Cream (not the Intensive Toning Gel pls). QEI+ never endorsed or authorized the manufacturing of all these shower creams (liquid soaps or baths) bearing their trademark. Google their site: www.qeiplusparis.com to confirm what I said
I said that, and I remember adding "just incase they have started making imitations". Just as you know that QEI+ makes no bath lightening liquids, yet it's in circulation back at Nigeria, same way Carotein may be faked and include HQ and the next thing they'll compare it to is maxi white serum that has both KA version and HQ version.

HudsonBanks: Please shed more light on this cos I already decided to book arik one way. Is it the arik officials that will stop you from boarding or who? It doesn't make sense considering I'll be there for a year
Oh yeah, heard frm people bout arik staff refusing people from boarding a flight cos they had no return leg. However, now i can add that a closer look shows that they were on probably visit visa C. So I'm not too sure if that's only applicable to the Visit visa or all types. A previous poster says you should be fine with it, so I guess you should, again, if it's cheaper. smiley.

Emmagency: I'm heading to London (Heathrow) this September... Have done a little search on flight tho...but appears most of them involves either a transit in Dubai or Spain.. (still checking)

Can anyone travelling this period provide the best bet airline they've discovered so far? (to save a brother a lot of time as I don't feel comfortable doing this at work *prying eyes* and I always return late)

And secondly, can someone give me few reasons I should get a 2 way ticket (which of course, return ticket date can be changed when the time is near) as I still don't fully get it..and please don't add 'because it's cheaper' to the list..(I mean, how much difference in terms of naira can be there?)

Thanks
If you get arik one way, you'll never board that flight until you show a return ticket out of uk.
Also, but seldomly asked, you may be required to show proof of return ticket at point of entry in the uk. Can't stress enough that this is seldomly asked to students studying for more than 6 months.

N also I use QEI bathing gel-carrot oil and palmers cocoa butter cream(at least I dnt react to dem). What natural product can I use to even my complexion( for cream)?
Try the Carotein blend. Be sure it's the one with kojic acid. Just saying incase people have made imitations.

Yes I second the previous poster. Put. "Nil"/ or Not Applicable in those fields. And don't ignore the additional info section to throw more lights that the applicant is a minor, even though they know (s)he is a minor. smiley
