Fair and White from EU has no HQ but KA.
Fair and White from else where has HQ.
Yes I use F&W with KA and some other serums and yes it does gimme a lovely glow.

dem days when I want quick action I could dare it but then, I discontinue use after a week and diss the leftover.

Please ladies, don't tell, except if you have to. Guys, don't tell except you should. But ladies and guys, If you are asked, don't deny it, the truth will always set you free, no matter how long it takes.
My girlfriend had a hearttoheart talk with her hubby 7yrs ago about her past because he asked "what she's been up to before they met". He told her his, and she, likewise. Till yesterday when I visited them, he swears at her if she, for example questions him about certain things, calls, movement, etc, that she thinks everyone's ruined their youth just like she did. Meanwhile, she's never teased him about his own gory past.

Lesson there is, you are not a reporter or a storyteller. If it's gonna cost u ur future, or it doesn't threaten ur partner, don't bother, just save it! Some men and women are immature about handling someone's past.

No probs, I'm thinking "DETAILED" isn't the right word I was looking for when I wrote "your letter was toooooo detailed " but at least you got the message.

Remember, feel free to use it, modify it or diss it. If you decide to do either of the first two, think seriously about if your nephew will like to give you another letter PLUS the main invitation grad letter from the university. So that means one letter from your sis, and the other letter from ur nephew becos if you r attending his grad, it's up to him to invite u for that, not exactly ur sis, If you see what I mean.

Remember to briefly explain any irregularities in your financial account so it's not taken for money lodgement. In the additional info section of the form, be sure to minute a little about why you're using your savings account for business purpose.

Regardless of your financial status YOU CAN NOT go "anywhere" worth going without procuring a visa on a Nigerian passport through an application process. This requires time (however little that might be). Time is a very expensive luxury.

This is a major hindrance in mobility which could sabotage major moves (business etc).

I have both a U.S and Nigerian passport, and the advantage can not be overemphasized.
I live 5 minutes from an International airport, and can get up right now, go to the airport, buy a ticket and head to my choice from over 160 countries with just my passport (at worst, a Visa stamp issued on arrival at destination).

When you're a Mikel Obi, you travel a lot, and any removal of unnecessary restrictions to your movement is a major perk.

It is about world accessibility.

You are a star!!! Very well-said. Leav'em to beef Mikel, wether this story is true or not, yet they be the ones gnashing their teeth when their visa applications are refused.

My policy in life... If it's not broken, don't try fixing it
If it will build your future relationship with your partner, why not. If it will cause problems, then no need to.
If it would crack a joke you both can share, of course, spill it all and share the fun. If it will send you packing or returning a ring, why bother?
Some partners can't even manage simple information you tell'em. They'll use it against you as long as you remain in that home/relationship.

The truth is that sometimes, we spend too much effort trying to know about hurtful pasts of our partners rather than channeling those efforts to making the future "less risky" for both of you. People need to understand that it's some people's horrible pasts that made them the better persons they are today. Some of these experiences are not worth remembering, so why force them, emotionally or otherwise, to "be honest " and tell the past?

If you luv your partner, make excuses for their pasts, good or bad.

Reference Letter for Visa officer:
Please Note I am a business man and sole proprietor of (name and address of my company). I am applying for a visiting visa to enter the UK for the first time so i can be able to visit my sister who is inviting me and attend sister's son university graduation ceremony which comes up on the 25/11/2014 at (name of school).

I intend to stay in the UK for a period of 2 weeks (15/11/2014 to 30/11/2014). However i will be staying in my sister's house in London (sisters house address in UK) throughout my visit as she would be responsible for my feeding and accommodation. Please refer to invitation letter.
While in London, I also plan to see places like Buckingham palace, London eye, National gallery London, London underground and do some shopping at Oxford street in London. My sister and nephew have promised to take me around to see above mentioned places in London. This trip means a lot for me as my mother and some other family members too will be attending the University graduation ceremony for my nephew .

Nature of my business: Import goods and sell in Nigeria, goods are mainly clothing items, computer wares and other goods usually brought in from India, also I export Nigerian food stuffs to India on a medium scale.
Please note that my savings account is also used for my business transactions, mostly for funds transfer purposes since i have debit MasterCard that allows me to withdraw money abroad for transaction purposes. Usually funds are paid into my saving account by clients or handed to me by hand; you could refer to my bank statement for funds paid in lump sums at various dates.
My personal income yearly is between N700,000 to N1,100,000 as annual profits from trading activities. I will be paying for my trip (Flight tickets, small shopping) for which I have budgeted N250,000 and finally I plan to return back to India for a period of time for some businesses after UK trip.

Items submitted alongside my visa application form.

1. Travel documents (1 international passport)
2. Letter of invitation from my elder sister (Inviter).
3. Pictures of me and Sister and My nephew (sister’s son) to show relationship claim.
4. Utility bills from Inviter.
5. Copies of my sister's identification documents, passport data page, UK naturalization documents.
6. Originals and copies of receipts for shipment of goods from India to Nigeria from India postal service (post office) as trade proof.
7. Registration of business name document (CAC certificate and other registration documents).
8. Past messages sent and also received through emails to sister and my nephew (Document to support relationship claims)
9. Print out for Individual taxpayer registration details from FIRS Garki tax office, Abuja. (Evidence of Current Tax status)
10. Bank statement covering a period of 6months. (01/02/2014 to 31/07/2014): Evidence of Financial Ability to Fund my trip
11. A reference letter from my bank manager to the British Embassy

IMO, your letter is rather tooooo detailed; right thing done at the wrong time/for the wrong purpose.
One thing you have to accept is that these ppl (ECO) are really very busy fellows who have limited time to only skim through letters and other docs. You need not write like you're talking to them face to face. But if you summarise ur letter without stating how "the trip means a lot to you", or better still, in more straightforward and official way, I'm sure that would be nicer.

I don't mean any harm, I'm #JustSaying. I'm sure you understand because I've read thru ur previous posts and u have an idea of how skoin skoin operates in these ppls heads.

Something of this sort will be ideal, brief, yet without missing the main info. Feel free to use it, modify it, or just ignore/disregard it.

Yes it's very okay, infact, it's ideal, IMO.

Also as regards that, i have a sum paid to me from a friend about N300,000 last month, it was payment for series of website design jobs which is way different from my monthly salary. I have no receipt for this payment, as am a freelancer and my company isn't registered. would it be seen as Lump sum lodgement even if i explain in letter?

Indicate that your account shows NGN300k which reflects payment for informal job performed for personal client(s). Nature of job: website design (include the website addresses). Note that if you're insincere, they'll fish u out and dats equal to "10years-don't-bother-to-visit-uk". Also be sure to answer that you receive income from other sources other than salary.

Lastly, i have my payslips of last 6 months except April, no doctor in the hospital was given April payslip because the method of payment was different and done locally. Should i also explain in the letter? ~~or just disregard.~~

You should be able to explain that as well... Don't even bother disregardin it. They can't know why you didn't provide a complete essential supporting document if you don't explain to them.

denass16: Thanks a lot @SpikesC and @3sha4lyf. Ur advises are invaluable. I will ring my school 2mrw and inform them of the development. I will also see if I can get the ATAS updated once I have a new passport no. I would rather leave the application as it is cos I don't think it will be easy to have all my docs (admissn letter, medicals, etc) carry my new Passport no. Submitting both passports and the letter shd explain y they carry a different passport no. from my new visa.

denass16: No I haven't submitted my passport and supporting docs. That is done at VFS, right? That is d stage I am. I went there on friday to have my biometrics captured, submit my passport, printed app and other supporting docs. That is where my passport was rejected because of a colouration caused by moisture at the lower part of my photograpah.

SpikesC is right. I can also add another suggestion. Withdraw your application first of all and request a refund. While this process is going on, sort your passport, Cas and Atas out; ring your uni on Monday, and let them know you will be requiring a new CAS letter with your updated passport, which you can only get the details when the Nigerian holidays are over. That way, you hear what they have to say and makes it easier when you finally get the new passport. I'm sure your uni will be happy to help.

Make a fresh application and be sure to indicate in your additional info that u made an application but withdrew it because of xyz reason (just a short 10-15 words sentence in bullet point, among other supporting info)
Guess u should be fine.

To an extent, yes, ur personal account has to show some personal income, which for some, is uncapped and varies. Personal tax clearance and/or company tax clearance, that may help but isn't a "passport to visa" in it self.

I have made the following entries ( all amount are in indian rupees )

14 july : cash deposit of 30,000/-
15 july : cash deposit of 12,000/-
17july : cash deposit of 21,000/-
17 july : online transfer from my mothers account of 100,000/-
18 july : cash deposit of 15,000/-

Will I have to justify this for the interview? I and my wife are going on a group tour for 8 days to schengen countries.
My yearly income on the business income tax return slip shows as 2,50,000 for the last financial year.
How do I justify the cash deposit entries? Atleast the online transfer I can show it as a gift from my mother.

Definition of your act is "Money lodgement for visa purpose"
Travel Agents will tell you to make large deposits in ur account in small bits to show the ECO u can cater to your trips but what they don't tell you is that those bits of deposits, and the frequency at which they are made, need to be coherent with previous deposits in your account over the previous months.

I wonder why your travel agent didn't tell you "how to justify the cash deposit entries" after "advising" you to make 250000 rupees deposit.

If it's my application, I really wouldn't bother about that. I didn't overstay the 90-180 days (+28 days grace) allowance. You were still in your "window period", moreover, you just indicated it was only just the 2nd visit. So I think that wouldn't be a problem. My sibling comes visiting and stays for almost three months...and I promise you, my sibling will actually be globetrotting the UK during this periods. And there was no issue at all with renewal.

I'ld be more concerned about getting my documents right this time to make an application. Do all the necessary, with supporting documents to show you can cater to yourself during AND AFTER your proposed trip(s) and ceteris paribus, your application will be approved.

Just asking, is it possible for you to pay, submit and print out form on the same day, AND STILL GET APPOINTMENT THAT SAME DAY? Wouldn't that day have greyed out on the appointment slot? Just curious, pls say, did you actually proceed to the appointment segment? Did u schedule one?
Didn't know you can still submit ur form and get appointment same day. Thought the appointment booking system changed that. Please say.

Fair budget you have there, but guess what, you can only fulfil these plans WITH a visa. But if one of the reasons why people fall for refusal is because they claim to be spending well over a percentage of your income vs total balance, how then can you spend these monies and/or do the sightseeing/tourism in UK?

Go do some small work on your budget... Early planning and booking for example can reduce the accommodation costs. Also scout for hotels with breakfast included. (Saves u some cost).

Depends on your reason for doing that and how you do it. Don't go opening scars like wounds instead of just exfoliating it. Tell you what yeah, on the form, where you have to enter dates and purpose of previous visits overseas, why not indicate "tourism and shopping" as your "purpose" and then only if you must, in additional section, write that you've included BOL from business done during your last visit, if that makes sense.

Just curious, pls where did you read that from? Didn't know you "need to explain why you need LTV." Seems like job application prototype to me.

In any case, I'm sure you need to put your supporting docs and purpose for travel right so they can assess your need for frequent travel. Most applicants get theirs so it shouldn't be a problem if you apply right.

Perhaps the system has not been updated with your info. It happens, it's not abnormal. If by now it still reads same, Just don't worry urself; enjoy the weekend and if anxiety persists, just be at your gate from 8am on Tuesday and wait for the delivery man.

If I recall right, it takes 2-3 working days AFTER VFS receives the package.
