This group and drama.

Oga Justwise, kindly unban Ralphjean. Not sure he warranted that long ban

Wait o he is still banned?? Haba Justwise, This is unfair now. You banned him just because he had a different opinion to yours, how is that right?

He was just pointing out that because you’re a stickler for the rules and you shouldn’t encourage mago mago. Please chill and unblock him abeg.

If he was banned as a result of the TV license thing then that is wrong. My major problem with the mod here is the penchant to banned dissenting voices even if they have not committed an offense. Justwise please unban him. We need as many people as possible to make this thread lively and informative.

Please we are lively enough Dusty.. I only left for a few days and I’m 10 pages behind cry

Maybe you need to go back to read his replies to my posts, this is not even the first or second time he does this, every time we have debate here he will pick on my post with insults. I can pull out posts regarding this.

How come i haven't banned everyone that disagrees with me here? How come he is the only person that got banned? Calling me a criminal for not opening door to TV lience people? I have no class for not reporting that i don't streaming live program?

How many of you here have i banned?

Have i ever banned you before but we have disagreed on many issues.

How many of you here have i ever banned? Even when we don't agree on the same issue?

Don't i have the right to give my opinion on issue without receiving insults from someone?

Don't streaming any live program and i don't want to pay for something i don't use but i still get called a criminal.

Eh I spoke to him personally about this. He went too far with the criminal thing, but the point he was making was that you shouldn’t encourage bad thing.

But you’re right, you’ve never blocked me even with all the problems I cause, so it was not fair that you blocked him. (Please I’m behind o, no vex).

there should be an option to pay using paga, that gives you a Naira equivalent and thus the $100 limit doesn't disturb you.

Thanks a lot G

No, you can't. The naira Mastercard has a limit of $100 monthly I think. You can check out PAGA or ask on the student visa thread.

Aii boss. Thank you for your prompt response.

Sorry for been so lazy to check google but can you share more info on Tier 1/Global Talent

Examples for people who just finished tier 4 student visa and want to migrate to this category instead of psw

I'm familiar with the academic route but one alternative will be Tech Nation Visa (exceptional Talent and exceptional Promise). If you have had some tech exposure and tech startup with some certifications here and there (online certifications) and maybe some patents (in application and not necessarily approved) you can give it a try. There is also the peer review path for different professions where you are accessed by your closest regulator - Arts Council, Royal Academy of Engineering etc.

See https://royalsociety.org/grants-schemes-awards/global-talent-visa/ for further guidelines.

I followed the UKRI endorsed funders route since I'm an investigator on an eligible H2020 funded project.

Please note that about 81 Nigerians have gotten the Tech Nation visa as at 2020 (against 270 applicants). There is no cap anymore so that number will definitely increase. See https://technation.io/tech-nation-visa-report-2020/#global-talent-visa

Hope this helps.

Yes, surprisingly not many know about the Tier 1 route and how you can get ILR in 3 years. If you can, get the ILR as soon as possible as the cost keeps increasing.

I will try but will not forget that money easily for a while. It's massive!

To my knowledge there is no such thing as an international certificate of good character as that presupposes a central international body authorised to issue such documents to anyone anywhere in the world.

A certificate of good character is simply the criminal record check you get from the police in Ikoyi.
A DBS is the UK equivalent of the police certificate you get from Nigeria.

It's done at the Records office in Ikoyi, near the Passport Office.
You don't have to go to Lagos to get it done, go to the police HQ in your state and they should be able to give you contact details or ask around.

Good afternoon everyone...I want to ask anyone that either recently travelled to England or knows someone that recently did....how did you submit the used kits for the Day 2/8 covid19 tests? I asked because new arrivals are meant to be in quarantine...I understand the used test kits are to be submitted to either post offices or authorized courier agents of the test companies... Thanks in advance

You drop them in the red priority boxes on the streets. All the instructions you need are included in the testing package.

No bank will grant form A for visa or IHS fees.

Hello House,

It's been a long time. I havent commented here for months. I hope you're all doing well.

I'm back again because of this NIN application and passport renewal wahala in UK.

I was told about this site https://iq-online.net/ to register for NIN. It supports UK, Ireland, Usa, Canada, Spain, switzerland.
And is the site legitimate? Has anyone used them before?

Please has anyone renewed their Nigerian passport in the UK lately? What's the process? How long will it take?

Thanks for your responses.
