When you gave up your crown and glory, retrieving them back is always difficult. You will get burnt first. Take the case of Samson and David for example. Samson lost his eyes. David's son came after him. Sword never departed from his household.

God forgives sins but we should also know that the consequence of our sins will be with us. I have given u two examples from the Bible. We see it all around us in real life.
