Quick one fellas, 70k naira should cover all the visa application fees and biometric enrolment fees right? Too many conversion rates online, don't know what to believe Thanks 1 Like |

teefinix: A world class MBA in Canada will be ROTMAN MBA at UT.....IVEY MBA at Western University, SCHULICH MBA at YORK, and maybe DESAUTELS MBA at McGill or QUEENS MBA. They 5 are very pricey!!!! |

kristlike: Sorry to say that you were ill-advised as there is no iota truth in what this 'your so-called adviser' told you. You might end up in the class-room only if you studied Finance in education. You have a very good grade in Finance, still young in age if i guessed correctly and have a good prospect to work with investment banks, CBN etc. My candid advice for you is to apply for M.sc in Finance and that would enhance your exposure in finance rather going for an MBA which is basically designed for highly experienced business managers or executives. Besides, while enrolled in M.sc Finance you could enroll for CFA exams ; CFA is the climax of Finance certification, it is highly marketable globally and i advise you consider this certification rather than MBA for the achievement of your dreamed career. Do not accept what anyone tells you without personally conducting intensive research/findings especially when it has to do with your career. I wish you a successful career. 4 Likes |

bankylan: Well I think all Canadian Universities are 'world class', so he can definitely get world class MBA from any one of them. Se Unis are just more popular or have more history than others and I don't think that justifies paying the millions they charge in fees. Except if you're a Naija politician or have billions saved somewhere |

joe10: Thanks for taking out your time to respond to me ,I really appreciate. If I get you well, you mention something of me that I'm still young. Well, for that I wouldn't be able to answer that correctly because young age differ to different people (I'd be 26years of age after I'm done with service) so my being young will depend on my employer. pertaining to studying M. Sc at the expense of MBA, I think I'll give it a try . I need your guide on what to do to enable me secure scholarship immediately after my service- talking about the best and recognizable Canada universities for M. Sc in finance program ,how to get materials for GMAT test, study guide etc. Another is I don't know if I'll be able to secure job immediately after my M. Sc to top investment banks in Nigeria . if yes, would my age still be taken into consideration then? if yes, what would be my chance of securing my dream job then considering the age I'm now? About the CFA thingy, I've heard a lot about that too and how rigorous and herculean it is. Do you think employers see CFA more marketable than M. Sc in finance from a reputable institution in Canada . If yes, should I go for it instead? if yes, I need guide on how easy I can smash the exam without stress. Btw, I have a course mate, we graduated together . He is so intelligent and wants to further as well to Canada but, unfortunately for him he ended up graduating with a 2.1(i.e 4.41 CGPA), strong one. What is his chance of securing scholarship in Canada with that result? Does schools require for your certificate showing your class of degree or your GPA transcript showing your grade point? Your usual modest response will be appreciated. |

I think there are rejections, just that those affected are keeping mute.. Also I learnt CIC has put an hold to study permits for the main time, focusing on other Visa types. Dunno how true this is though, but since we havnt been getting updates here, it may likely be true. Cos its close to a month now, no news from anybody. Its well canadabyfire: |

Please check well, they would have updated ur biometrics, Cos I do not think they would have sent you a Medical request without them having a record of ur fingerprints and all. And you dont have to be worried bro, You are almosst close to Approval since you were sent a Medical request and you passed. Not that you did upfront medicals, cos an applcation that has an Upfront medicals passed can still be refused. So since you passed a reuested Medical from CIC, then you should get a message requesting for your passport soon. Congrats in advance Hadastextiles: 3 Likes |

Joshnerl: My brother, 850k will go a long way to build your statement of account instead. You are qualify with C6 In English. Ask your question here we have gurus that are well informed than your agent. Your agent dey even come here to tap info. Bros try and read from page one if you have any question just ask. I repeat C6 in English can grant you admission, all you need is to write a good and convincing sop to your school then include other necessary documents 1 Like |
