Dont mind them they don't want to agree that Egun language is not even in the group with Yoruba
Egun people are part of my family my friend, they are like Yoruba. Also, not only Igbo speaking tribe alone are in the south east now.

If ur tribe wud categorize the Eguns, You will put them under Yoruba.

Egun bear Yoruba names and understand the Yoruba language. Egun people has been under the Oyo empire along with the Benin Republic way back.

They are under the Oba's rule

Lagos State is failing and Tinubu/APC needs a diversion from all the failure and corruption that is shaking his local champion empire.

Tribalism is always a powerful tool and Tinubu/APC know how to use it

Bros, so Egun language is now useless to Egun people, let them speak for themselves, the same Bini man will not speak for Yoruba because some bear and understand Yoruba
That dude has informed you everything abut Ogu or Egun people..but your refusal to comprehend is astonishing.

The general Yoruba is their first language while Egun dialect is their second language.

There are 40 different languages in Ondo-states aside Yoruba language yet, all these people speak the general Yoruba language(first language or primary language) along with their local dialect(second language or secondary). Non of the 40 languages including the ijaws will ever tell you he or she is not a Yoruba person.

Egun people can be likened to that

Egun people are migrants from Benin republic more than half of them are still in Benin till today. They can never say Lagos is not a Yoruba land. They were accommodated by the Yorubas.

Overtime they have embraced the Yoruba culture than a Yoruba person. to the extent most of them call themselves Yoruba.

Egun dialect cannot be the official language of anywhere in Lagos.

Not really a good idea. Yoruba language is now prerequisite for admission into Lagos State owned tertiary institution. So someone not from Yoruba State is not expected to take Yoruba language in waec. So in the case he chooses LASU or any other State higher institution of learning, that make him/her automatically disqualified.

You can study in your state now

Why una ibos no get shame like this? You keep attaching yourself to south south. Even if you do this because of Ibos in Niger delta, how many places in Anioma have oil? Over 95 percent of the oil is from the minority lands. You greedy IBO thieves always claim Niger delta oil just to be relevant when in fact, una no get oil. Besides, don't iboland receive federal allocation(oil money)? Una no get international airport for Enugu? South east contribute less to Nigeria and yet receive federal allocation.
Thieves!!

See this Osun bush-rat grin

The oil from Imo State and Anambra is not crude oil abi? Na olive oil grin grin grin So the Igbos in the SS are now yorubas?

Abeg go chop shit. You enjoy oil money funded infrastructure and then think you can blackmail the people that funded it into silence.
