Also, it will be difficult to mistake the Bill of Lading for something else. It is the most important document in the shipping process. Most shipping companies will only send it after you have paid for the shipment. If not, they will not give it to you even if you tell them your car is incurring demurrage at the Port. As others have said, it is usually available a few days after the ship has set sail.

This is your chance to clear your name. You can do that by providing the dock receipt or other related documents. You may redact names and addresses for privacy. As at the time of this writing, this thread had garnered 2330 views. That tells you that a lot of people are watching.

All this document here, document there, picture here picture there, is while not irrelevent especially in these days of Photoshop is not conclusive in any way, pre-order more than anything else is a trust issue. As an actual example, my friend brought some cars (2 MLs) a couple of years back while I was in America, I took pictures there and have pictures of the cars here in Nigeria, supposed I were to post pictures at the right intervals to support my claims of being the supreme Pre-order car dealer. would that mean I was, anyhow All I can say is that if anyone reading this thread decides to give money up front to "AGARIautos" as he is currently known then the old adage " A fool and his money" would never be more true. Personally I wouldn't deal with him even if the car is sitting in front of me.

What I find most annoying is the fact that he might actually be in the trade though probably as someones boy boy, but rather than put in his time to learn and build some capital while making small deals here and there, he believes that quick easy money is the way to go, then he will go to church and ask pastor to bless his business then blame his fathers 2nd wife's children for everything going wrong in his life.

AGARIautos made a post (currently quarantined by the spambot) which includes Name and address of his shipper; MANHEIM EXPORT, INC, 2711 CENTERVILLE ROAD, SUITE 400, WILMINGTON, DELAWARE, U.S., his booking number, bill of laden number and the name of the vessel.

AGARIautos also sent us a bill of laden. The shipper has agreed to verify the bill of laden and we've sent the same to the shipper. A post of our findings will be made shortly.

[li]Manheim Inc. confirmed that the actual Bill of Laden has not yet been sent to AGARIauto, but will be sent after Manheim Inc. receives the bill of laden from the real shipper (UAS); after the vessel sets sail.  [/li]
[li]Manheim Inc. confirms that the "bill of laden" provided to us by AGARIautos is just a inhouse receipt from Manheim Inc, but not the real bill of laden which is required to claim the vehicle from customs in Nigeria. [/li]

Yes very useful, so after shipping 30+ cars he doesn't know what a bill of laden is. Buyers beware O!!!!!!!!!!!

No really, I honestly don't understand why anyone is bothering to investigate this apart from the fact that it is fun anymore, if he is truely an experienced car dealer how come he is mistaking a receipt for a Bill of Laden. I mean if you go and see a Brain Surgeon, and he points to your balls and calls them your left frontal lobe wouldn't you run very fast in the opposite direction.

so this is all a fuss about nothing - so he called the document a wrong name (big deal).

The car is en route to Lagos (according to Monitor anyways) - that is the important matter; if that is the case, then AGARI's integrity remains intact on this evidence, though he might be prone to the occasional mistake  when it comes to document titles.

The car exists and is apparently being shipped to Lagos - let's wait for the prospective owner to claim his cargo before any more comments  are made on the authenticity or otherwise of the sale.

Unless of course, the buyer is a 'front' - again, proof would be needed, else it is simply a case of accusation without proof.
