I submitted my 489 visa application for South Australia on 27 Nov 2018 so I just wanted to use your submission date to build an expectation for mine.

please,i am somehow confused over the occupation.I studied b.sc chemistry and did MBA in healthcare management,but for the past 8years i have been working as a sales manager in an electronics marketing company,so which of these should i choose as a nominated occupation?Knowing fully well that chemist is not in 189,190 and 489 sub-classes visa,but sales marketing manager,marketing research analyst and marketing specialist are in 190,489(s/t) categories.I hope my MBA will cover me u for these marketing positions?Again,my wife is a midwife/registered nurse with 6 years experience although she is currently in 400level studying b.sc nursing.

I would like to know what to do. if I am unable to provide the Proof of Fund for myself, wife and two children.....I have started up the process but this is giving me sleepless night. Pls I need advice and also is there any other way that I can follow to boycott the POF..I truly dont have up to that in my account to be honest.

The instruction there is not explicit for me

I need to apply as a Secondary School teacher by virtue of my certification but I have worked as an administrator/ Client relationship officer in the past 8 years and can't provide any tangible evidence for teaching other than my degree certificate and transcript.

I need help especially from anyone already processing with AITSL. Thank you.

Depends on the visa class you are applying for. If applying for visa 189, you don't need POF. POF is only asked if you are applying for state nomination. Not all states require a POF. Some don't ask at all, others don't request for a proof, they will only ask you to write the amount you have available, While others about two or so require a proof.

Go to AIM website to read requirements for sales manager. If you meet the managerial duties requirements, you can nominate sales manager.

The route depends on the number of points you can gather. If you meet enough points in IT occupation, 189 is the way and if not 190 or 489.

ACS has all information you need on their website.

The work experience I quoted was for 2 years hence no tax certificate but I included pension contributions with PFA reference letter and even general tax receipt by former employer but they are rejecting it

Greetings everyone,please i want to ask,whats the average earning like in Australia for an MSC holder in Engineering,i have about a few friends doing very well over there,but each time i ask,they keep saying the pay is good without stating figures,i do not really know what they are into,but from their investment in Nigeria they appear to be doing really good,my reasons for asking is to help be make a decision on my migration options,anyone over there could help throw more light into the financial expectations,thanks.

@Bellong well done for your work here. Pls im a lawyer by training in Nigeria but I've spent the last 5 years working as a retail sales staff in a commercial bank. Should i assess my job experience or certificate?

AITSL doesn't require teaching experience. All they require is the 3 months teaching experience during teaching practice while in School which will be graded in your transcript.
But you will also register with the Teacher Professional Body there too.

Wages are actually high here but it may surprise you that your friends maybe working in fields that are not related to their professions. Some blue collar jobs are paying far more than white collar jobs besides a high number of ppl that migrated through PR and study routes end up practising what is not related to their field of study, part of the reason while most disappear from this forum after getting their grants but above all if you are not lazy and very hard working, you gonna make money in the country.
