It may as well be true that the database files were not deleted and the auditors might have make a mistake or knowingly say it was deleted to draw much needed attention to the audit. I think both sides are energized now.

They refused to provide the auditors with the admin password.
Now they are threatening the auditors to preserve all docs regarding the recovered DELETED database. They should file a suit for this to get a subpoena but they wont because of the discovery issue.
