You can't get anything sane from basilico. That's why I don't even engage him anymore. Just tell him that President Biden approval ratings with Americans is in the 60s and that's something Trump never got to in his four disastrous years in office. White House is being run by competent adults now not bunch of Nazi loving, misogynistic and xenophobic extremists.

Finally, I would like to know your thoughts on the election results narrative. I think this would be the ultimate yardstick to test your objectivity.

Do you think the last election was free and fair as stated by all security agencies or do you think there was a widespread and coordinated election fraud as stated by trump which culminated on the January 6th chaos?

I had to cut out all of your summations to focus on this. Easy with the insults now. We both know my antecedence of going full vitriolic when needlessly antagonised. You'd have to pick your words more politely if we are to debate, as against cursing out 'cause nobody on this thread would be better for it, except, maybe, the fleeting satisfaction in the hilarious disses.

You are no test for my political objectivity. You are a faulty gauge yourself as your partisanship is more polar than mine. You're FAR LEFT, while time and again, I have stated I am more of an Independent leaning (slightly) Right because of the horrendous and irrational ideologies of the Left.
Here's a reality check: You're not. You, being Left-leaning,are just as fitting a judge of political objectivity as a meter rule is for atmospheric pressure. Heck! A person who kicks against ID as a requirement for voting while it is required for something as relatively mundane as drinking can't sit on any objectivity-judging panel.

The 2020 elections were flawed, just like most elections around the world anyway. Mail-in ballots were the undoing of the Right. Non-citizens and illegals could vote and there were many valid reports, even on official platforms, of some persons being mailed ballots twice or dead people receiving mailed ballots. And these non-citizens and illegals sure would go for the party which doesn't care about who enters and leaves the country's borders.
But elections, like the law, are about exploiting the loopholes in the system and the Democrats exploited it well. Would the Republicans have done same given the opportunity? I CAN'T swear they wouldn't have. Just like Obama granted accelerated citizenship during his time to game the system.
Sometimes, the law is not just or fair, it just operates on available evidence as I have stated.

That reason is why certain states like Georgia are now asking for ID before voting but the Leftists are up in arms. It's just a simple requirement.

See how being rational feels like? That's the advantage of not being driven by herd mentality.

Interestingly, and hypocritically so, folks like you kept chanting the 2016 election was rigged and Russia helped Trump because your candidate lost and the system favoured Trump. Now you quip objectivity. Don't make me laugh.

Now I called your post disingenuous partly because you brought up Candace when I had asked about Biden.

Modern American Conservatives are childish people. You ask them about Govt policy, they will start ranting about unconnected emotional talking points such as Hunter Biden, Candace Owens, why Google put Senegal Independence day on their homepage instead of Easter, children wearing mask on a plane, or a black man that shot someone somewhere in Pennsylvania. Just like their hero Trump will tweet about anything that causes outrage to Conservatives despite it being unconnected to policy. Discussing actual Govt work with modern American Conservatives is like trying to discuss nuclear science with a child. Please don't expect anything reasonable from people who get their world view from Fox News, Breitbart etc. Garbage goes into their brain, and garbage comes out. Garbage in, Garbage out.

The same person you think is a reasonable human being has now started telling you the election was fraudulent. You thought he was reasonable, but his brain is full of the same garbage. Werey dey disguise.

Talking about Obama granting accelerated Citizenship means you know nothing about how citizenship works in America. I will tell you as an American who granted accelerated Citizenship was Reagan and Trump. Reagan did it for Rupert Murdoch in the early 80s and he became a citizen within one year of his residency which is not normal. Trump did his with Melania's parents. He accelerated their citizenship because they are his in laws and people like you who have no idea are shouting your lies for all to see. Thank God there are Americans here who can dispute your lies. Obama's the boogle boy for Right Wing Wackos and their lovers on Nairaland.

Ibime probably forgot the guy he's given credit to as a sane Right Winger. Distroy or whatever he calls himself lost credibility when he brought up Candace Owens and Obama accelerating Citizenship to help him forgetting that Obama won his two Presidential elections against Bob Dole and Mitt Romney in a landslide of historic proportion. I love seeing these local Right Wing Nazi lovers to come on Nairaland and embarrass themselves. What's fun to them is real live to some people who have to deal with these Nazis living with us. If the likes of the Nazi loving Trump can hate Obama with all Obama's accomplishments in life, they should think of what the vile racist Trump will think of them in Africa.

Listen, I called on you because I've known you to be one of the few sane right-leaning yet objective
analyst but you are certainly disappointing now with your obvious overwhelming bias.

To your point, there are always lots of important issues happening around the world at all times. One can never keep abreast of all of them, that's why we rely on news and media institutions to filter them and give us the most important, pressing and urgent ones.
For instance, Almost everyday, there are new elections held all around the globe in various countries, we can't keep abreast of them all so we rely on the news media to give us information about the most consequential ones.

China and Iran have always been and Will always be a problem for the US, but I like to think that the covid pandemic, the economy, election reform and the immigration issue are the core issues in the mind of Americans right now not those two countries.

Now I called your post disingenuous partly because you brought up Candace when I had asked about Biden. More so, that information about her is largely inconsequential because when we talk about racism in america. We know the party which the historically racist parts of the country align with. We know the party which has only 3 black representatives out of more than 250 and the one which has 54 black representatives out of that same relative number.

What he said about you folks here are spot on. You talk about objectivity but you align with someone who thinks entering a plain gives you knowledge. It is just an echo chamber of close minded people to put in simple. I

None of you want to be objective with reality. You just want to be in your bubble and spew nonsense.

I love clowns because I grew up watching a show on WGN TV called Bozo The Clown and they entertained us and make us laugh. Trump's is worse than a clown. He's an outright Con Man and a Grifter of no equal. Who steals from Children with cancer on a fake charity he sets up or who started a Fake and Unaccredited Trump University just to scam the gullible fools that idolize him. I will take the real clowns over that two bit alley hustler.

Right wingers? I don't think they are fanatical. We both know those who thrive on cancel culture, faux outrage, and racial politics.

But there are several middle grounds. Both Democrats and Republicans (including Trump supporters, of course - some Independents) all stood up for Candace Owens when Democrat candidate, Liam O'Mara racially abused her by threatening her with a KKK hoodie. I love that one - everybody finding middle growns once in a while.

Biden... He's goofed on some issues. But he's done some things I like. Like going tough on Iran unlike Obama. Ironically, the Democrats criticized Trump for his tough stance on Iran too but are praising Biden for the same thing.

The issues at the border with Mexico are still of concern and there are still several controversies. The media is deliberately downplaying these issues and AOC, who was playacting at the border during Trump's era, has suddenly forgotten where the border is.

Biden has literally excused away China's treatment of the Muslim Ughurs. He's practically endorsed China's islamophobia and CNN, AOC, NYT and the likes who infamously slammed Trump with the Islamophobic tag are deliberately looking away.

Still too early for a definite Biden scorecard.

With all the problems facing the US - economic, pandemic, trade war with China, broken relationship with her traditional allies, etc, you want Biden to concentrate on China's treatment of the Muslim Ughurs? You expect the Biden to expend energy on Muslim Ughurs when predominant Muslim states in the same continent are not even talking about it. Where is Saudi Arabia, where is Pakistan, where is Indonesia, Turkey Nko? They are all still in bed with China.
If anything is to be done for Muslim Ughurs, the Muslim dominated countries are the one to take the initiative, the US can only support.

Why did you not ask Trump about the Ughurs, he hardly mentioned them.

What is an audit meant to achieve? Flip Georgia's electoral college votes to Trump and therefore declare Trump the winner of the 2020 elections?

Maybe all the state's should be audited and not just a select few. I would also like to see the 2016 elections audited. Who knows, it might show that Hillary Clinton actually won the elections and so we can unswear Trump and swear in Hillary instead.

Ignoring like Trump did is even the lesser wrongdoing than excusing the ill-treatment of Muslim Ughurs just as Biden did.

If there was no fraud the democrats would welcome an audit. Its that simple .Simpletons have been told by media there was no fraud.
I welcome the audit.
The Secretary of State does not want to hand over the ballots to the auditors. He wants to turn over the scanned images not the actual votes and the envelopes.
DNC lawyers are threatening to sue the auditors should they visit voters to confirm whether they voted or whether that's their address.

New Hampshire. An audit has been voted by the state senate and house. Audit due in 45 days after Governor signs it.
The forensic audit will determine the huge discrepancy between the election day results and subsequent recount of Windham’s November 3, 2020 State Rep. race where a difference of 1,363 total votes from just 10,006 ballots was uncovered.
