I agree with the directive about fulfilling your obligations as pertaining to a bet, though. But that should apply to all human affairs, and, again, needn't be exclusive to any ridiculous guy code. It's just common sense that you should stick to your words, and shouldn't lie through your teeth to make a promise or vow you will never fulfil.

As pertaining to giving, that one is good, although it's not compulsory. But a good friend comes to your aid in time of need. And that's basically human and general too.

Everything that makes sense in this absurd code happens to be simple rules that common sense demands should be obeyed in your everyday interaction with other human beings, especially everyone you share a personal relationship with, and not as a part of some infantile bro code.
