Psalm 32:8-9

These are ten powerful keys that will set you on a personal journey of Kingdom wealth if you would incorporate them into your daily practices.

*1. Verbal confidence:* Break every yoke of intimidation and inferiority in yourself.

*2. Self-discipline.*

*3. Strategic savings:* Remember, the spirit of poverty works with how much you spend while the spirit of prosperity works with how much you save.

*4. Strategic sowing and Kingdom partnership:* Find a genuine ministry that you can partner with their assignment. This way, you will partake of God’s covenant upon such a ministry.

*5. Due diligence and attention to details.*

*6. Eyes that see what others overlook:* This is one of the elements of a financial anointing and you should pray for eyes that see what others overlook.

*7. Increased sensitivity to the Holy Spirit:* The Holy Spirit is ready to show you where He has kept your wealth. Wait on Him in prayer.

*8. Recognise your seed, seedtime, and your ground.*

*9. Divine location:* The ravens met Elijah at the brook God sent him. The widow was waiting for him where God sent him to (1 Kin. 17:2-16). Divine provision is waiting for you in the place of divine location.

*10. The principle of honour:* What and who you choose to honour will determine the blessings that flow in your direction. Someone said, “Dishonour is the seed for loss.” You can get through humility and honouring the right person what you can never get through formal education. Learn and imbibe honour. Young professionals need this counsel more.

*TOPIC: CASH IS THE LOWEST FORM OF WEALTH*
1 Timothy 6:17-19; Matthew 19:21-26

There are some wealth forms and wealth channels that the Bible speaks about. Knowing them will help you to understand what to pursue. *Wealth forms refer to different forms in which wealth exists.* For example, energy exists in various forms: electrical, mechanical, chemical, sound, solar, heat, light, nuclear, etc. People understand the different forms of energy and take advantage of them.

However, most people only deal with one wealth form, i.e. cash. Since cash is the only form of wealth most people know because that is what they were taught and grew up relating with, they end up as strugglers in life. *If the only form of wealth you understand is cash, you are already struggling financially.*

*Cash is one of the wealth forms but the lowest form of wealth.* When people say someone is a wealthy man, they usually think in terms of how much cash the person has. *If cash is the only form of wealth you know, it will be the only wealth form you will respect and pursue.*

*In the ladder of wealth forms, cash is at the bottom rung while other wealth forms are higher.* In life, the norm is that the higher commands the lower. Likewise, every higher form of wealth will command and control the lower form, and as a result, cash is the errand boy of all the other forms of wealth. When people hear ‘money,’ they go crazy. *If money is all you have, you are not very wealthy; you are a poor man.*

*TOPIC: LEVERAGE YOUR EDUCATION TO GENERATE WEALTH*

*Education is a form of wealth because the kind and quality of education you have will, in the long run, affect your ability to access cash and wealth. It will affect your ability to interact effectively in life.* Whenever a society despises a professor and respects uneducated men because of their money, that society respects money more than education, and it will affect the succeeding generations.

*Every family must recognise the wealth that education can offer their children.* Give your children not just an education but strategic and qualitative education; education with a view of what it can do for them in the future. Findings show that the Jews control the bulk of the wealth in the world today and it can be traced to the value they place on quality education. The Jews believe in attending the best schools and studying the most powerful courses there.

Today, you find a lot of young people who despise school and drop out of school. They prefer to go after sudden cash and short-term activities, such as sports, that will earn them fast money. They do not understand that cash is the lowest form of wealth.

*When you are educating your children or even yourself, know that you are developing a powerful form of wealth that can command cash.* You acquire it with cash but it will command cash before long. Some people win the lottery and lose all the money in a short time because they do not have the education to manage the cash.

*TOPIC: PURSUE CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE*
Proverbs 1:5; Philippians 4:9

This is different from education. Education, as I referred to yesterday, is formal education. *Critical knowledge governs different sectors of life that you are not taught in the four walls of an educational institution. It is like school after school. Critical knowledge teaches you how to relate and interact with honour and respect.* For example, it is critical knowledge for me to teach my son how to dress well.

*You need critical knowledge to prosper in the wealth channel you want to venture into.* You are not likely to succeed if you go into buying and selling any product without critical knowledge on how you can thrive in it.

*In every field of life, there is provision for the acquisition of critical knowledge.* It is called different names. For example, in engineering, it is called pupillage where a student engineer attaches himself to a practising engineer. In the work of the ministry, when people wonder and ask what the secret of success in ministry is, I say, ‘God’s way of training leaders is not through a formal school (particularly after you have gone through one); it is to attach you to somebody in order to train you.’

*How well you do in the acquisition of critical knowledge will affect your performance in life.* It is a time to learn and ask questions when you cross over from formal education to the critical knowledge section. *You will be cheating yourself and endangering your future if you do not ask questions when you are being trained for critical knowledge.*

*TOPIC: RELATIONSHIPS CAN BRING WEALTH*
1 Kings 5:1-12

*The positive strategic relationships in your life are a form of wealth. Some of the wealthiest people today count their wealth in relationships. Build critical relationships.* A man of God made a powerful statement that “Dishonour is the seed for loss.” He said, ‘I cannot tell what your future will look like until I know who you choose to honour.’ *Honour is the law that binds and keeps relationships.* Anywhere you go, let respect go ahead of you. *You can never go wrong in a relationship if you send respect ahead of you because you do not know who is who at first sight.*

Some who occupy positions with power assume that they are almighty and talk without manners. Five years later, they wish they did not speak like that. *Dishonour is the seed for loss. Every loss in your life can be traced to someone you chose to dishonour. If you dishonour God, it will lead to eternal loss.*

Some people know how to navigate their way in relationships so well that they always have what they need or want. In contrast, others mismanage relationships so much that, even when they are in need and everything is so tight, nobody is willing to help them. You can have spiritual relationships and physical relationships. *Do an audit of the relationships that are vital to your wealth development in life.*

*Relationships will make or break you. Wrong relationships destroy some people.* Be careful because one wrong relationship can destroy much good, and one good relationship can turn your life around for the better. *Just like formal education and critical knowledge, a relationship is a higher form of wealth than cash.*

Two stories. One theme. A powerful lesson:

A man is warned of an oncoming danger.

No matter the number of warnings, he refuses to listen. Because it simply “can’t be true…”

And just like the warnings stated, he faces his doom.

- Et tu, Brute? Caesar refused to believe that he would assassinate him, no matter the number of warnings.

- Gedalia refused to believe his guests had come to assassinate him, no matter how many times he was warned.

This is the lesson of Tzom Gedalia (today’s fast day), and this is also the powerful theme of the Aseres Yimei Teshuva: The Ten Days of Repentance/Return- where we return to our true selves, our true purpose, and our true Root: Hashem.

When life sends us hints and warnings, we need to open our eyes and ears.

When a marriage falls apart- it’s usually because the signs were there all along, we just refused to listen.

When our career doesn’t go as planned, the signs were usually there all along as well.

The same is true in almost every area of life, especially when it comes to spiritual growth.

When we listen to the warning signs, we’re able to not only avoid tragedy, but achieve true greatness.

So go all in, keep your eyes and ears open, and keep walking true

*Faith will give you a better option than your history and ancestry can give you. Everybody’s turning point will come when they decide to believe in God.* Jesus said, ‘All things are possible to him that believes (Mar. 9:23).’ He didn’t say all things are possible to him that goes to school and He never said all things are possible because there are no devils. Rather, ‘All things are possible to him that believes.’ The Bible says, ‘How can they believe, except they hear? (Rom. 10:14).’

*The words that you are receiving must be putting faith into your spirit and showing you to believe in divine possibilities.* There’s a difference between something easy and something possible. God didn’t promise you an easy road in life but a possible road. An easy road is a road going nowhere and a possible road doesn’t mean there will be no enemy there, but it’s simply possible. Joshua and Caleb believed in the possibility of taking the mountains regardless of the giants. Caleb said, ‘We are well able (Num. 13:30)’ because faith had taken over his heart, and he got what he wanted.

*Everyone on the earth is operating under one of two forces: faith or fear.* Most people are under the force of fear, so they don’t try out anything new. _*For wealth to flow towards you, don’t develop wrong habits. Instead, develop faith habits and habits that get money, keep money, increase money, multiply money, and perpetuate money. If you will have generational wealth, you need to develop faith and correct work ethics.*_

_*PRAYER:* Father, help me to develop faith and habits that generate and increase wealth in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: THE ROLE OF THE CHURCH IN VISION DISCOVERY AND TRAINING*
Ephesians 4:11-16; 1:22-23

*The Church is not just a building with four walls;* it is supposed to be *a training centre.* The Church is *God’s workshop on the earth.* It is *the centre of His attraction on the earth.* So, *if you must walk in the fullness of God’s vision for your life, you must be accurate in your choice of church.* God still leads people to church. You need to know that it is not every church that God has prepared to train you for your destiny because each church is characterised by its assignment.

From the texts today, I am sure you can see clearly the role of the Church in maturing the saints. *Maturing cannot take place anywhere outside of the Church because the Church is God’s workshop. Though the Church has been equipped by God to mature the saints, it is not every church that is equipped to supply each individual’s specific training.*

The Church is likened to the body of Christ and you are aware that a body is composed of several parts. The location of your body parts is proportional to their functions. Can you imagine what you would look like if your head was situated where your stomach is and your feet were where your nose is? *So, each church is created by God to fulfil a definite task. Your training for the vision of God for your life is in a church and you must pray to God to lead you to that church.*

*Sadly, most people are in the wrong church for various reasons ranging from proximity, fashion and style, and so on. _I make bold to tell you that your choice of church is immensely an important matter to God because He does not want you to be in a wrong place._*

_*PRAYER:* Lord, help me to settle and posture correctly in the Church You have ordained for me in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: LET GOD CHOOSE THE PEOPLE OF YOUR VISION*
Galatians 2:6-8; Romans 9:1-4

*God will get involved with you only when you get into accuracy concerning the people you are to reach.* Many times, certain side issues pull us out of the programme of God in this area. In today’s texts, Apostle Paul clearly defined the people he was sent to. The nationalistic zeal in Paul lured him to attempt ministering to the Jews a number of times, but since God did not send him to the Jews, he always met stiff spiritual opposition.

*Regardless of what your gift or calling is, you are raised for a people. The people will wait for you and nobody will replace you in Jesus’ name.*

Some of the people that you are raised for may not be able to pay you for what you will do for them. Not everybody is going to respond to you or your calling. *Whatever your gift or calling in life is, ensure you let God lead you to the people He has sent you to.* Paul was raised to reach the Gentiles while Peter was raised as an apostle to the Jews, and both of them succeeded.

Paul had a deep affection for his people, the Jews, but he was constantly unaccepted by them. Everybody wants to be accepted by their people. Even the Lord Jesus Christ wanted that, but He said, “A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house (Mar. 6:4).” Sometimes, that can happen.

*Don’t allow emotion or zeal to take you out of the plan of God. It is my prayer that the Spirit of wisdom will come upon you to recognise the people that you are sent to. Avoid being led by carnal sentiments that move most believers out of accuracy in the programme of God.*

*TOPIC: YOU HAVE YOUR MEASURE IN THE THINGS OF GOD*
2 Corinthians 10:12-13

*The sixth component of the will of God is the measure* and we’ll be considering the different perspectives of the measure that God gives us.

*First of all, you must know that it is God that gives you your measure.* The book of John 3:34 says, _“For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God, for God giveth not the spirit by measure unto him.”_ This scripture tells us that the Lord Jesus Christ did not receive the anointing in measure; He received a measureless anointing. It also implies that the Spirit of God and the anointing for ministry are given to other ministers of the Gospel in measures. Only our Lord Jesus could contain the anointing without measure in His physical body.

*When we speak of measure in the anointing, it is the divine portion of the Holy Ghost’s power granted to a man to function in the assignment that God has given to him.* Everything that God asks us to do (whether spiritual or physical) requires an anointing. The Bible says in Zechariah 4:6 that _“Not by might, nor by power but by my spirit saith the Lord of hosts.”_

*If God has called you to serve Him in any area, He will put a measure of the anointing upon you. That measure is that which God gives you and it defines your limit of reality and authenticity in your calling and the programme of God. When you go beyond your measure in spiritual operations, you will not have divine backing against the enemy’s attacks.*

_*PRAYER:* Father, help me to understand the measure of divine donations You have given me and help me to abide within my measure in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: WHAT TO DO IN YOUR GENERATION*
Isaiah 41:1; Acts 13:36

*It is not enough to know the generation you belong to; you must also labour to discover what you are to do in your generation.* Today, there are many people in different positions that could do something wonderful about the programme of God for their nation, church, and generation but are still hesitating.

*When God places a man in a certain generation, He expects him to rise and glorify Him in that generation.* Lots of times, we wish we belonged to a different generation that God didn’t place us in. David was a good example for us in the Bible according to Acts 13:36 which says, _“For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption.”_

*Whatever purpose, anointing, or measure is upon you, God will demand that you serve His will in your generation. God will not accept excuses.* Joseph found himself in a terrible generation in Egypt, yet he served the will of God. David served the will of God in his generation. *You must serve the will of God in your generation.*

People sometimes say that it was easier to live for God and serve His will in the days of Moses or Peter. That is not so. *God is working within each generation to prepare men to live gloriously and fulfil His purpose in their generation, including you.*

_*PRAYER:* Lord, prepare me to do Your highest will in my generation in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: INTRODUCTION TO THE BELIEVERS’ MINISTRY OF INTERCESSION*
Matthew 6:10; 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

*Welcome to November! Our focus this month will be on Intercession and its place in the end-time operations of God.* In these last days, there are deep things of God beyond human operations that must be birthed into physical manifestation. However, *God needs individuals that will yield their vessels to the Holy Ghost to bring this to bear.*

*My focus this month is for you to understand and fulfil your ministry of intercession as an end-time believer. Intercession has its root in God. The anchor, backbone, pillar, and root of intercession is the will of God, not the will of man.* The Bible talks about being born of God and not of the will of man or the will of the flesh (Joh. 1:13).

*Birthing the deep things of God is not of the will of man. It is not according to what you want.* The spirit that births the deep things of God speaks thus, *“Thy kingdom come, oh Lord!”* This will show you the difference between people running to God when they are in trouble and people seeking to birth His will.

There is a difference between what you are personally looking for (the needs of your life) and birthing the deep things of God. *The determinate counsel of God is what God intended to do or cause to happen on the face of the earth.* For that determinate counsel to be realised on earth, God chooses you, mantles on your spirit, and the Holy Ghost takes a hold of your spirit.

*TOPIC: CULTIVATING INTIMACY WITH GOD FOR AN EFFECTIVE INTERCESSORY MINISTRY*
Mark 1:35

There are key spiritual practices that are necessary for a human vessel to be fit for intercessory ministry. *As an intercessor, the first thing to focus your attention on is how to cultivate intimacy with the Lord* because it is His will you want to birth and His purpose you want to be released. So, it is all about God’s counsel.

*You must understand that what God wants to do on the earth is not in your mind; it is not what you have seen or heard before.*

Sometimes, some of the pastors in our church wonder where I get the mandates I give them for their pastoral postings. All are simply from the womb of the Holy Spirit. *What God wants to do on the earth is not in your mind, and that is why intimacy is very crucial. You cannot be effective in your intercessory ministry if you neglect the place of intimacy with God.* Jesus went to a solitary place to pray and strengthen His intimacy with the Father many times.

*Your attention should be focused on how to get intimate with God. You must cultivate a personal prayer time and a depth of intercession and travail in the Spirit to birth the deep things of God.* These are things that the eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor has entered the heart of man but God has marked out for those that love Him (1 Cor. 2:9). *You cannot just get into that realm by attending general church prayer meetings; they come from intimacy with the Lord.*

*PRAYER:* Dear Lord, draw me into the place of intimacy with You in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: FEED YOUR SPIRIT MAN CORRECTLY WITH THE WORD OF GOD*
1 Thessalonians 5:23

*Man is a spirit that has a soul and lives in a body. You must feed your spirit with the right substance to be effective as an intercessor.* Real food that feeds your body is nutritious, but snacks deceive your appetite. The fact that your hunger is quenched does not mean your body has been nourished.

*You are to feed your soul with healthy information but the deception that wastes your time is entertainment.* You can spend an hour on quality materials that will enable you to handle life more effectively, but you can also use the same hour to watch things that will pollute your mind.

*For your spirit, the Word of God and fellowship with God are the real food. However, the devil uses religious activities to deceive the spirit.* Some people find more fulfilment in engaging in religious activities instead of sitting down to feed and meditate on God’s Word. Greeting the pastor, buying flowers for the altar, or going for choir rehearsals are all activities which are not wrong but will not feed your spirit.

*The Word of God is the food that feeds your spirit.* If you read only one verse in six months, that is the rate you are eating. If you get before the Lord and all you do is sing sorrowful songs for five minutes, you may get up and feel high like you have done something, but your spirit is leaner, and you have also expended some of the strength you have in the body. After all the singing, please sit down and feed your spirit with the Word of God!

_*PRAYER:* I am deciding today to daily feed my spirit man with the Word of God to become an effective intercessor. So, help me, God. Amen!_

*TOPIC: LET YOUR PRAYER BE BASED ON GOD’S WORD (1)*
1 John 5:14

*As an intercessor, do not let your prayer be religious. Don’t have religious family altar prayers every day without caring whether they are answerable prayers or not.* Don’t pray, “Lord, as we are going out, we will not meet someone evil”. That is not what the Word of God tells you. *When your prayer is not based on the Word, you will be praying amiss. The first thing is to let the Holy Spirit settle your spirit with the Word of God. You are to take your prayer from the Word and not the other way around.*

When our children were young in primary school and we told them to pray, their prayers then always began with, “As we want to sleep tonight, God, do not let any bad thing happen to us”. Their prayers were always centred on evil. So, I corrected them and asked, “What about what God has said should happen? What about ‘He has given His angels charge over you (Psa. 91:11)?’” *I guided them to pray Word-based prayers. Most times people have not fed their spirits with the Word, so their prayer is fear-based.*

*An effective Intercessor will spend a lot of time in the Word to know the mind of God. The goal of intercession is to birth God’s will, which is always in alignment with what God has said in His Word.*

*When you are not fed with the Word, fear rises, and you will try to handle that fear with self-generated prayers. At such times, you will pray unanswerable prayers.*

*PRAYER:* Lord, guide me into accuracy in the place of prayer as I establish myself in Your Word in Jesus’ name. Amen!

*TOPIC: EXAMPLES OF GREAT INTERCESSORS (MOSES AS A CASE STUDY)*
Exodus 32:32-34

We have a lot of lessons to learn from the life of Moses as a great intercessor. *Moses was a man that would stand in the gap until the purpose of God was accomplished.* God told Moses that His will concerning the nation of Israel was to carry them to the Promised Land, a land flowing with milk and honey. However, they angered God severally and God said, “I will wipe them out.” Then Moses interceded and said, “No, Your will must stand, oh Lord!”

*God is looking for someone to remind Him of His will and cause a release of His power in this generation because He has already said He did not want the death of sinners but that they should repent and turn to Him (Eze. 33:11).*

*Moses was a man that was not concerned for himself but for the purpose of God. He was more interested in the counsel and will of God coming to pass than His gain or comfort.* The person that God will use to birth His glory at this end-time must be dead to self. God said to Moses, “Let Me destroy these people. I will disinherit them and I will raise another nation out of you.” If Moses was a man filled with self or one who was self-centred, he would have said, “Yes, Lord. I have been observing them and saw that they are so stubborn and cannot make it. Kill them and raise out of me a nation.” But Moses said, “No Lord! Your will must stand.”

_*PRAYER:* Help me, Lord, to place Your will above my interest in the name of Jesus. Amen!_

*TOPIC: EXAMPLES OF GREAT INTERCESSORS (THE EARLY CHURCH)*
Acts 12:1-24

*The prayers of the saints make the power of God available. It releases the power of God into operations, angels are released, and the will of God is birthed on the earth. When we are lazy at intercession, we give the devil an undue advantage over our activities and operations here on the earth.* It is the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of the saints that makes tremendous power that is dynamic in its working available (Jam. 5:16, AMPC).

When Herod took James, there was no record of the Church raising intercession on his behalf and the devil had the upper hand – James was beheaded. When Herod saw that it pleased the Jews, he stretched forth his hand again and took Peter (Act. 12:2-3). That is exactly how the devil operates. *If you give the devil any chance in your affairs, he is ready to completely take over except you rise to stop or resist him.*

When Peter was arrested, the Church this time around rose to her responsibility of intercession and the power of God was released into operations, angels started working, and, in this case, the devil didn’t have his way. *It is because God has not found people to stand in the gap that evil takes over in a land.*

*There are lands where it will take intense activities in the place of intercession to break the forces of darkness over such lands and free the inhabitants from the stronghold of principalities and powers.*

_*PRAYER:* Help us, Lord, to take our place in intercession more seriously and give no room to the devil in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: DEALING WITH THE ENEMIES OF INTERCESSION (2)*
Matthew 6:14-15; 2 Corinthians 10:12

These are some other things that the Holy Spirit does not fellowship with.

*3. Offences:* This one is another major weapon of the devil. There is no way you will be a great intercessor with offences in your heart. Anytime someone offends you, don’t hold on to that offence. No matter how it hurts you, forgive them. *I tell people to practise forgiveness in advance. What do I mean by that? Before you leave the house every morning, tell God, “I forgive in advance anyone that might do anything to offend me today.”* So, if the offence comes, you will not hold on to it. It is too dangerous for your spiritual health to hold on to offences.

*Once you don’t forgive men, God will also not forgive you. That is the scripture.* That means you want God to also call all your sins to record. *So, for your sake, forgive your offenders. No matter how terrible the offence may look, you have done worse to God.*

*4. Competition and Comparison:* God has not called us to compare ourselves with others, so, don’t do it. There is no point competing with another person, rather complement them. *You should only enter a competition with the programme of God for your life and make sure that everything God has ordained you to do is completely accomplished.* For example, no man compares apples and oranges with respect to one being better or worse than the other. That will be a sign of limited wisdom because there is no basis for their comparison.

_*PRAYER:* Holy Spirit, be free to purge me of everything God detests that is present in my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: YOU AND THE HOLY SPIRIT*
John 14:16-17

*Welcome to 2023! A year that will be filled with the operations and the moves of the Holy Spirit! Your greatest companion this year will be the Holy Spirit and you must develop intimacy with Him.* To kick off this year, I want to take you on a journey of developing INTIMACY WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.

*Man was never created to operate alone. A major component of the existence of man that God puts in place at creation is his relationship with Divinity.* The fall of man brought a separation between God and man and Jesus came to the earth to mend this broken bridge. When Jesus was leaving the earth, He promised the coming of the third Person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, as the One to continue that linkage with the Father on earth while He advocates for us before the Father in heaven.

*The goal this month is to open the eyes of every child of God to the immense advantage we have in the Holy Spirit to live a victorious life on earth, devoid of the human frailties that came in through the Fall.*

We will be exploring the full-fold ministry of the Holy Spirit to the believer as the Comforter in being our Counsellor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby (John. 14:16, AMP). *Hand in hand with the Holy Spirit, a believer is a formidable force against the kingdom of darkness on earth, invincible as God.* This is a good digest for a believer that wants to be all God made him/her for. Why not you?

_*PRAYER:* Lord, I receive a renewed walk and relationship with the Holy Spirit as I step into this year. I receive the operations and manifestations of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: DESCRIPTIONS OF THE CHURCH*
1 Peter 2:5; Jeremiah 18:1-6

Today, I want to show you three expressions of the Church that explain what God is doing when He brings you to a church.

*1. THE CHURCH AS A BUILDING*
Jesus likened the Church to a building. We are all like living stones being built together into a house as born-again believers. God sees His people as stones He wants to use to construct great destiny edifices. You will never become what you are to be while you are complaining about the divine process; even though it will not be easy on your flesh. God wants to finish everything as any great craftsman does. The church is where God processes and refines people to be what He intends for them.

*2. THE CHURCH AS A FACTORY*
The church is a factory and there are all kinds of productive noises going on in a factory. God is looking for a divine factory where stones are cut into His specifications to fit what He wants to build with their lives (1 Pet. 2:4-5). God is the one that reshaped the vessel that was spoilt in the hand of the potter into a vessel as it pleased Him in Jeremiah 18. God can turn your mistakes into miracles for your destiny to happen, only if you make yourself available for His shaping hand.

*3. THE CHURCH AS A SHOWROOM*
When God finishes in the factory, He brings you to the showroom. The showroom is where God displays His skills in the lives of men. God wants to boast of your life; He wants to use it as an attraction to the world. People are fed up with all kinds of failures and shortcomings here and there, and God wants to use His children, the Christians, as an attraction. The Church is the centre to inject the value that is lacking in the community makeup to balance the community.

_*PRAYER:* Make me, mould me, try me, and refine me Lord into the vessel You want me to be in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: RELATING WITH THE CHIEF SHEPHERD*
John 10:1-18

The Church is first likened to a sheepfold, and then an army. *The sheepfold represents love and care while the army teaches responsibility.* Let us consider how to relate to the Chief Shepherd. Jesus Christ is the Chief Shepherd; the Bishop and Shepherd of our souls (1 Pet. 2:25).

*In every true church, the Chief Shepherd takes the pre-eminence. Anyone who seeks to put himself in a place of greater relevance and pre-eminence than Jesus is a thief and a robber (Joh. 10:1).*

Today’s passage shows us five kinds of relationships every believer should have with the Chief Shepherd, namely:

*1. INTIMACY AND KNOWING:* He wants you to learn from Him and know Him intimately (Mat. 11:27-29). The priority of God in saving you is that you may have a living relationship with Him.

*2. LEADERSHIP:* He wants to lead you into His highest purpose for your life and He will accomplish this many times through your pastor.

*3. FEEDING THE FLOCK:* God is particular about how His children turn out and He will always give you shepherds after His heart that will feed you with knowledge and understanding (Jer. 3:15).

*4. HEARING:* The written word of God introduces you to the Living Word and you must prioritise God’s word to have your spiritual ears attuned to the Lord’s voice.

*5. ASSIGNMENT:* Your salvation and church membership should lead you to take up Kingdom responsibility assigned to you by your pastor.

_*PRAYER:* Lord Jesus, I receive grace to relate properly with You as my Chief Shepherd, that I may know You the more this year in Jesus’ name. Amen!_

*TOPIC: COMPONENTS OF THE SHEEPFOLD (1): THE SHEPHERD*
Jeremiah 3:15

*The shepherd stands in a place of leadership and responsibility over the affairs of the sheepfold. A God-given pastor relates with people and their problems as God would, because nobody can know a person better than his Maker.* A pastor does not operate like a prophet that sees visions or like the evangelist that commands the cripple to walk, but the big gift that God has placed over the pastoral office that is absent in others is the heart that a real father has for his children, which makes the pastor very keen and sharp in the spirit to the details of the life of the flock.

*As we talk of lawyers and doctors that are experts in their fields, the pastor is an expert in the situations in the lives of people and the souls of men.* Standing in this office has nothing to do with one’s age but the divine equipment that God puts in the heart of the called. For the shepherd, there is a sense of ownership as he is accountable for the sheep.

*When God brings people to church, He does not give them a chair in church but a place in the pastor’s heart.* Just as God is carrying everybody in His heart, He gives a portion of that heart to a shepherd. It is when pastors do their work well that people enjoy atmospheres of peace, blessing, and such divine donations. When you see churches where the pastors are lazy, just enjoying, and feel too busy to do the work of God, the flock there suffers.

_*PRAYER:* Dear Lord, show me my God-given shepherd and help me to respond correctly to the person in Jesus’ name. Amen!_
