Ulcer has no drug. It will take your eating habits to cure it.

Before you begin, know this: Ulcer is just an injury in the stomach lining.
It is very important you know this.

1. what do you do to internal injuries?
Nothing. You let them heal naturally since you cannot drink iodine or chew cotton wool.

2. what causes the searing pain you feel?
This happens when objects brush against the injury. Worms, food particles & stomach acids can cause this which explains why the pain is severe a few minutes after you eat (during digestion).
Pain can also occur when worms brush against the injury so you need to de-worm yourself like every 3 to 4 months to reduce the probability / frequency that they will.
Also, eat very early in the morning as the worms will start eating your stomach linings if they don't find food (probably how the injury started in the first place).

3. what foods should I avoid / reduce?
Pepperish foods trigger the pain (imagine rubbing pepper on a leg wound). Aha.
grin
Reduce or stop alcohol.

4. what remedies should I use?
Fruits. Simple.
Eat more fruits. They help to heal it faster. Fruits like bananas, cabbages etc.
Milk & honey also do a good job. They don't trigger the pain & they provide a form of coating to the injury.
Increase your protein intake. Beans, fish, meat etc to help heal the injury faster.

In addition,
Never go hungry. Know that you're eating for two reasons.

1. For nutrition
2. To keep the worms at bay. They start crawling all over when they can't find food so munch on anything you find.

Eat small meals / snacks /fruits frequently.

Follow these tips & it will leave in a few months.

If I remember anything else, I'll update.

you might think you are helping but you are not.

stomach ulcers are caused by many things some of which are lesser known but are very common causes, such as excessive painkillers , excess alcohol intake and the very frequently caused by a bacteria called Helicobacter Pylori.

this guy is better of in a hospital than Nairaland. He can afford data but cannot afford hospital care?
when it becomes an acute exacerbation, he will have no choice than to goto a hospital and spend far far more than the initial cost.

Best advice is to go to the hospital.
Stomach ulcer is mostly caused by a microorganisms called Helicobacter pylori. To eradicate it, different drug combination can be used.
One of such combination is: clarithromycin, omeprazole and amoxicillin. These should be taken for 10-14 days for complete eradication of the bacteria. Though you can also buy antacids(liquid) for symptomatic relief for the stomach pain.
Also avoid eating peppery food. Eat regularly as at when due.

Eat snacks or other light food between your breakfast lunch and dinner. More importantly, refrain from taking pepper for a long time. If you take any product without observing those tips along with it, it’s a waste. They go together.

Forget about it. Don't think about its symptoms and u will soon see it vanish... into the thin air.

Its a conditioning of ur mind!

I was in that shoe a couple months ago, I stopped seeing symptoms when I started breaking the "ulcer rules" and took my mind completely off it.

Now, I don't have symptoms any more - even though I skip meals often...

Its a paradox....

But most expressions of symptoms are unreal, they are actually in our minds....
Really? How can ulcer be a manifestation of the mind?

Get this prescription......

Omeprazole 20mg bd for a week Amoxil 500mg tds for a week Flagyl 400mg tds for a week

Then avoid drugs like aspirin, ibuprofen, diclofenac....etc. They are NSAIDS and worsen ulcer.

Guy, medicine for managing ulcer is not expensive. Basically antacids to control stomach acidity and antibiotics to combat or prevent any infection.

See a doctor and get a prescription.

Plus, there are things that trigger it. Mine was an insensitive roommate in Uni who loves playing loud music all day long. That and not eating well (I'm on campus, right?)

Check stress, anger issues, the like.

Diet, too, is a factor. Some foods are a no-no for an ulcer patient. Hot, spicy foods? Run, o!

Watch out for Medication. Some drugs taken for unrelated cases will aggravate an ulcer.

Mine was bad, like my stomach was on fire.

Thank God it's gone now.

Did you know how monkeys eat their Bananas? Well buy fresh bananas and eat them with their back, do not peel them.
Or you can find Honey and mix it with Aloe Vera and be taking the stuff early in the morning and late in the night before sleeping. And you must avoid anything pepperish or that triggers more acid secretions such as Orange, Lemon, Vitamins-C etc. Are no go Area you if you want peace of mind!

1. There is no drug treatment for ulcers, but Proton Pump Inhibitor (PPIs) like Omeprazole and H2 inhibitors like Cimetidine can help to reduce acid secretion, thereby reducing associated pains and help the healing process.

2. The pain is caused by acid secretion in the stomach usually triggered by eating habits.

3. Avoid oily and peppery foods.

4. Always ensure that you anytime you feel hungry. Antacids can be very helpful in reducing acid secretion and pains..

Before you take any medical advice, visit your doctor and ensure that you follow doctor's prescription.
you can use omeprazol and joris mist mag

So leaving off a lot of the fables. You need to first understand you problems.
Internal wounds like ulcer are hard to heal cause the effect of reduced oxygen.
Oxygen is very important for wound to heal. But the effect of cells dying off in healing process produces oxygen radicals that cause inflammation and prevent healing.

So one way of treating hard to heal wounds is with antioxidants to prevent the accumulation of the free radicals. So am saying that free oxygen scavenging agents can help you heal internal wounds such as ulcer much faster. They prevent or remove free oxygen radicals, and allow the wound to heal.

Free oxygen radicals Scavengers are basically plant products that are very rich in antioxidant vitamins. A good example is beetroot. The red juice is a rich antioxidant. Boil it and drink the sweet blood red juice infused water. Eat the roots as well, and your ulcer can heal in about 2 months. Take small sips often. You can put the water in a bottle and chill it for easy short swings. But more importantly, the pangs will reduce as inflammation causing free radicals are reduced.

Pawpaw or papaya is also listed as having anti oxidants, but I do not think it is as rich as beetroots.

Any other source of high dose of antioxidants can also work. I am only certain of beetroot. You can find beetroot in Shop right or other malls.

Please not that if your ulcer I'd due to H. Pylori infection, using antioxidants might not be enough to heal you quickly. You might need antibiotics as well. But antioxidants will give you immediate relief.

Worms? For your information worms don't digest what we eat. Acid in the stomach is responsible for digestion. Anybody that has worms in their stomach should visit a doctor.
