You are not making sense. You wish to trade VP for Presidency under PMB.

Do you think Atiku would allow his VP to outshine him or work seamlessly with him the way PMB and Osinbajo are doing?

Ogbeni as it stands the SE will not get a shot at Presidency for another 16years unless they align with PMB then they get it in 4 years.

Enjoy your Athiefkulation. grin
Go and sit down. We know that Buhari will never give presidential ticket to SE in 2023 even if they give him bulk vote in 2019. Take your deceit to somewhere else. Many people in SAw will vote for Atiku even with SE VP. They know Buhari is jot an option at all. VP for SE is the best option for Atiku. Even without Atiku, sew what happened in Ekiti and Osun. PDP made great impact so shall it be in 2019. Atiku, pls don't be deceived by looking for SW VP, you may loose both sides. Take SE VP and secure your SE/SS block votes. You'll surely get reasonable

Wrong!

SS is currently 50/50
SE is currently 70/30 in favour of PDP

SW is currently 60/40 in favour of APC
Middle belt is also 60/40 in favour of PDP

Core north is currently 70/30 in favour of APC

Politics is all about numbers. By the time you add up the numbers it would become clearer to you that Atiku has already lost this election .

14million from west will be divided, large numbers of Easterns are in West, go through voting pattern in west it always be divided, Yorubas by tradition hardly vote for PDP, 2011 the supported ACN, 2015 Yorubas supported Buhari because he used Osibanjo as VP, Igbos and other minorities from Niger delta supported GEJ, state like Lagos with highest registered voters APC got 792,460 and PDP got 632,627, If PDP use Igbo as VP Igbos will massively vote for PDP

Below 2015 table, with five state in the southeast Igbos gave PDP more than what Yorubas gave APC in Southwest

Everybody knows that Tinubu tells them who to vote. Moreover, all the SW have APC governors. Its better for Atiku to secure the zone he's sure of. SE VP will secure his SE/SS block votes. Many liberal minds in SW will still vote for him because they know Buhari is not an option next year. Remember, Agbaje almost won Lagos in 2015, that will tell you there are many liberals in SW. Atiku may be taking a big risk and could loose the whole sides if he picks SW VP. What happened in Ekiti and Osun showed that many people want PDP. If Atiku gets bulk votes of SE/SS, some parts of SW, NC, NE and NW, its done.

You were being sensible from the beginning until your 8th point, this same mistake all of you have been making. Do you live in SW? Have you ever voted in SW? How many Igbo dey vote for SW? Let's assume, the few Igbos in Lag will have gut to troop out to vote for Atiku, you think same will happen in Ogun, Osun, Oyo and the rest? I have voted in different polling units in SW and i have never met any Igbo person on the line. Even in 2015, they could not do anything to help Gej but you think you can do more for Atiku. Some of you even said Igbos represent 50% of the voters in SW. Wonderful.

Moreso, if Igbos makes up to 30% population in SW, then lets agree that other tribes like Hausa, Edo, and the rest make up another 30%, so you mean Yoruba does not make up to 45% of the population in SW? Wonderful.
You are absolutely right, I don't know how they conveniently sit down and come with this funny statistics, they talk as if Yorubas have all disappeared from southwest to some distant land.

Atiku shud pick is VP from the southeast, that wil guarantee majority of d votes from there, Southwest is tired of APC honestly, he does not need a VP slot to convince us to vote for him, Osinbajo does nt count, at best ApC might win Lagos state and d other 5 states in d west will go to PDP. Atiku does not need a VP slot to get d vote from d west, give it to d South-East and that wil most likely guarantee a win in 2019.

Ask your brothers who own shops and plazas their market is in? Ask them who collect tax? They will tell you APC. Ask who they want to win they will tell you Atiku. Ask who they will vote they will respond APC.

Why? Because theyve learnt from past experience the consequence of stepping on APC toe in Lagos.

Please get your rant right before you toss it about. This has absolutely nothing to do with Yorubas. It has EVERYTHING to do with Atiku and PDP with the choices they feel would selfishly work for them

For the entire 16 years PDP was in power they had 4 inaugurations and at no time during these inauguration did they look the way of an SE candidate. The blame is solely on PDP and nobody else.

Now the same PDP is about to repeat another inauguration and also sideline those from the SE while fielding a northern candidate who would surely want to run for 2 terms. The blame is solely on PDP.

If they choose to give the VP slot to the SW are we to reject it? Why would we?

High northern votes forced them to field a northern candidate with the hopes of eating into it.

High SW votes would also force them to want to pick a VP from the SW. Whose fault is it?

The SE themselves only want to have an entitlement nature to everything. Align with those that can help you push your agenda of Presidency forward but your hatred would never let you all reason sensibly.

You cursed all other regions including the Fulani's and now karma has blessed you with a Fulani whom you are all now looking up to for scraps of VP to fall from his table grin the irony of life.

Play politics of trust and not disloyalty. Align and stop hating and maybe...just maybe the rest of the nation can learn to trust you again.

Stop blaming the yorubas we are not Nnamdi Kanu.

So there are no people from other zones living in the north west? Why did buhari win in a landslide?

Yorubas are very much in PDP. PDP won Ekiti and lost by just 20k in Ondo in 2015 are those foreigners too? Foreigners don't influence votes in Nigeria. There are many non indigenes too living in Rivers State yet gej won with a landslide. Foreigners don't vote or are systematically disenfranchised. There are many northerners in the SS/se but they don't influence your votes.

This Igbo foolishness will make Atiku lose the election. Trying to undermine Yorubas in pdp will be Atiku's downfall.

Another foolish talk is SW don't give block votes. We gave Falae block votes in 1999 and Obansanjo in 2003. Wait until 2023 when we field a candidate then you will see another block votes. All these kids saying nonsense without knowing history.

I really do not care about who becomes the president. Both aren't even worth any of the mandate but right now, until I leave Nigeria, I'm with anybody that's against Buhari. Atiku would be extremely stupid if he chooses a VP from SW. Very stupid. If he does, the ibos will boycott the election and not vote hence an easy win for Buhari. He should focus on those who can contribute voting rates on all region. To become president, you need a significant percentage from all region and ibos are the only set scattered around to do so compared to yorubas. The ibos have more electoral vote than Yoruba and that's a fact. Unlike Yoruba, the Ibos votes are in North, SW, SS and SE. The Yorubas though have electoral votes in SS and possibly North, there's more ibos there than yoruba. I'm from SS, I've seen more ibo here than yoruba so anyone saying Yoruba can win anything for anyone clearly do not know Nigeria.

Even we do the math and compare both
SE has close to 8 million.
SW has 14 million
Unlike SE, the 14 million of SW includes non-indigenous. The fact that SW only has 14 million despite the inclusion of North, SE and SS voters included, it makes you wonder what is the actual number of yoruba votes.

Let's say the VP slots go to Yorubas, there is no guarantee that Yorubas would even vote for Atiku but there is a huge guarantee that the ibos will not if he does. Therefore, Atiku would lose ibos votes from SE, not only that but also lose the ibo votes of SW as well and despite the arguments and fights with SE and their SS brothers, the Ibos in SS votes wherever SE votes and they boycott whatever SE boycott, therefore, he equally loses the votes from ibos in SS. If Atiku handlers are here, tell that man it is a very very stupid idea to omit those who have more voting strength than those who none of us are even sure what their percentage of voting strength is. Very stupid idea. Why does he think the people pushing him to pick a VP from SW are all APC supporters? He should think about that first.

For him to win, he needs the vote of middle belt. I don't know what deceives Yorubas that they are the deciding factor in the election. They have never been. The government of Nigeria did not start in 2015, I don't know why that tribe keeps deceiving themselves that it did. Even GEJ won and lost because of Middle Belt. His focus should be Middle belt and not Yorubas. Even if all Yoruba votes against Atiku, as long as he wins some middle belt, SS and SE, he'll win.

The best person for him to pick as VP is Iweala. She's the best of both worlds because she'll cater to both SS and SE. She's from SS and she's ibo so the ibos wouldn't see anything wrong with if the VP position goes to a non SE. Also, those of us in SS wouldn't see anything wrong with either because she's from our zone. Both his stronghold gets a share. Plus, his dark cloud is claims of his inability to travel all over the world due to claims of corruption cases waiting for him. She is a buffer on that considering her immense reputation worldwide. The respect he lacks from world leaders, she has. Iweala is the best choice for him and I hope he is smart enough to realize that.
