Many biblical examples abound about how God didnt reveal many things to the prophet. If God didnt reveal it to adeboye, there was no way he could have known.

The key thing is leave Pastor adeboye out of it. Unless it can be proven that Akingbola actually made his intentions known to adeboye and adeboye encourage him to continue.
