a. Ahmed Musa b. Alex Iwobi c. Wilfred Ndidi

2. Nigerian Home based player of the year
a. Ezenwa b. Lokosa c. Stephen Eze

3. Most impactful New Inclusion (2018)
a. Uzoho b. Ebuehi c. Idowu

4. Best Goalkeeper (Best Ogedengbe Award)
a. Uzoho b. Ezenwa c. Ajiboye (i don't think Akpeyi played a game until Uganda, Ajiboye played in CHAN)

a. Ekong b. Balogun c. Ebuehi

6. Best Midfielder (Oliha/Okwaraji Award)
a. Ndidi b. Mikel Obi c. Etebo

7. Best Attacker (Rashidi Yekini Award)
a. Victor Moses b. Alex Iwobi c. Ahmed Musa

8. Most improved player (2018)
a. Iwobi b. Uzoho c. Ighalo

9. Young Player of the Year
a. Ebuehi b. Iwobi c. Uzoho

10. Super Falcons player of the year
a. Oshoala b. Ordega c. Oparanozie (not much to base this on, Ajibade deserves a mention from the youth team)

11. Super Eagles Goal of the Year.
a. Musa 1st goal vs Iceland
b. Musa 2nd goal vs Iceland
c. Ighalo winning goal vs Libya

Thanks for finding time.

Observations:
1. Stephen Eze is no longer a home based player can he as a Foreign based player receive a "Home based player award"?
2. The young player award is for players who are 21 and below. So it means Ebuehi and Iwobi, who are both 22 are not eligible.

1. Replace Stephen Eze with Theophilus Afelokhai for his continental performance
2. This drastically reduces the options.Chukwueze and Ebere Eze (If not allowed, Osimhen)

Note that for Theophilus his club performances do not count here . But we can accept him because he played in the Athletico friendly.

Ebere Eze not elligible. So I take Uzoho, Chukwueze and Osimhen for this category from you then.

This should be a democratic process and not autocratic process but from the look of things you are trying to enforce your opinion. It's not acceptable.

I insist Eze is qualified until we arrive at a consensus that says otherwise through vote. Thank you.

There is nothing autocratic about this. Joebie brought this Eze's case to my consciousness and with the explanation I bought into it. It is just common sense. You like dragging issues unnecessarily.

4 out of 7 members have made their complete nominations and they left Eze out of it because he is no longer home Based.

Call for voting now and for days we will be calling on u guys to come and vote on top Eze's issues.

We have more potentially important Votes to make to break potential ties in the nominations. And that will also be time consuming. The earlier we send in our list of nominees the earlier we finish this work.

Put Eze in your list if you want to and let's move on please.

The AWCON is over now.

For those who have not nominated please include your 3 Super Falcons nominees.

For those who have already nominated please go back to ur earlier nominations post and update the Super Falcons Player of the year section.(the nominations started from page 3)

And please our time is running out. We still need to collate these nominations and vote to break ties where they arise. We would not want to assign a deadline yet because of the perculiarity of our activities outside of here. But time will come that we assign a time, collate those who have responded and move on. We still need to organize a general poll for all nairalanders. No time please.

Re: NNFF Awards, Committee. by Icon4s(m): 7:41pm On Dec 03, 2018
Thanks to those that have completed their nominations thus far.

After this nominations stage we still need to collate and vote where there are ties in number of nominations some players will get. Ties may or may not occur but we have to factor it into the time frame. We also need to firm up the name for the Best Midfielder award. We have Sam Okwaraji and Thompson Oliha.

Every project must be time bound. And so I suggest 6pm(Nairaland time) on Wednesday 5th December as deadline for submission of nominations. After which two members will be saddled with the responsibility of collating the nominations. And then we move ahead with the General voting by the house.

Only TheSuperNerd and Komekn are yet to submit nominations. The house is waiting on you both please. While Forgiveness is to complete his number of nominations for the SE home Based player award.

Simeon Nwankwo, Jamilu Collins, Kelechi Nwakali, Samuel Kalu, Semi Ajayi, Samuel Chukwueze. These are the ones that were invited and got to feature. So u pick any 3 from amogst them.
