Good day all, I recently got an admission at Tu Dortmund for MSc Data Sc. But am yet to get an appointment date. Pls I would like to know the pros and cons of studying in this city, and is there any Dortmund student here? Pls I would like to familiarize myself. I would also like to join the student group if any.

The man spoke nicely and friendly on phn. He politely confirmed that if u have booked appointment for this summer u will later get a date.

Note: forget that 10 or 12 months things. Thy Lord is on our side.

Pls pls pls there should not be reason for any argument about whether or not AD will be given this summer, the best thing is to make a subtle enquiry about all the issues surrounding AD either by Phn call or by visiting the lagos Consulate. And this has just been done by one of us....

I have been on this site bumper to bumper. And I can testify that nobody under Cat B has gotten AD in this German thread since Oct.

Influx of migrants on free education adds nothing much to there economy apart from that those students would want to work in Germany to get this moneys they spend. Apart from that German economy is at the brink of recession, plus already Germany is already the most populated country in the EU.

Maybe they think doing this will save there economy.

My dear they are not doing it for any economic reason because this rule only applies here in Nigeria. All other countries get appointment anyhow they like.

It depends on your start date. What start date did u use?

yes it is your choice you can choose the paper route or online route it depends on which one you prefer just make sure that you print the declaration form as well and sign it with date. What I did for my sister we use the paper application and I keep checking the online route for some details only, the barcode is just for the consulate to see what you filled both are ok it is up to you. The paper application is straight forward and easy to fill.

Yes, am using the online form and I actually prefer it because there is a tool that explains every item, but not every explanation is clear and it will tell u the required fields. Both forms online & paper have same info so I won't disregard ur previous message, u were correct.

I observed the paper form don't have the barcode page that u must include in the application. How did u do it.

The person who made me switch to cat A, said its based on speculation but its worth the try than me waiting its better to switch go there and get turned down than waiting for a Cat B application that's obviously not coming

U can use it. No problem. I know of someone on this thread who used it and was admittedadmitted. Unless ielts academic was specifically mentioned.

Please for those who got admission at Human Computer Interaction, Siegen. What type of questions were you asked during your Skype interview?.

I did my interview with them yesterday & result is not out. Besides,I'm no longer interested but I can help u with what the interview is about.

They want to know about u, what u do & ur qualifications. how u knew about the program, why u chose the program, what exactly do u find interesting about the program, what do u intend to do after ur studies etc....

I did my video call interview for MSc Human Computer Interactions uni Seigen today and my office network was unusually unstable which affected the interview. The conversation was breaking, I could hardly hear them. At the first 15 mins the network was fine and conversation was going well until maybe village people flashed.
After struggling with the network for anoda 20 mins they ended the interview and I felt bad.

2 hours later While still contemplating on whether or not I will be considered for admission after the whole network saga, I received a mail, behold, it was an admission letter, my first admission letter and my favourite course, Msc Data Science at Tu Dortmund. The Lord consoled me at the very hour.

What marvel The Lord has done indeed I am glad.

O God, pls let every other thing I need for this journey fall in place in Jesus name...

May everyone on this forum also get their AL.

Got email and it says skype interview just wanted to know what its like.

Oh seriously, they called yours Skype interview. But they didn't call mine interview but video conference and even asked me if I could join them and then choose a time from the options.

Pls Wen did u receive the mail and wen is ur interview.

Is not a Skype interview. Its an online video call/conference according to them, where we get to know each other better. They sent me a link to join them tomorrow.

Someone here got something like approval notification in his HCI portal but didn't know what it was. Has d person downloaded d PDF to see if it is an admission notification?

Congratulations brother! I applied for that program last time but was rejected on d ground that my position on the application was far - 521, I had a 2.2 and applied late.

Maybe we should call or email the German consulate and ask if there is hope for category B getting appointment date this summer?

I am comparing the analysis of curriculum you submitted to TUM-online with your Certificate.

In the certificate grades are listed from A to F. In the analysis of curriculum grades are listed 1 to 5

Send me pleas an official explanation resp classification of the grade A to F.

Then first I can proceed with your application.

When I filled the form I used 5 as the highest possible grade and 1 as the lowest passing grade. Which represents A to E. Now they want A to F. 0 is F which is fail
