Your last sentence clearly proved that you don't have anything to blackmail SW with. APC is a taboo in your region already, then why should any SW candidate on the platform of APC should be worried about your vote and that of your people?
I will say it again, APC presidential candidates should stop campaigning in the south east, it's a total waste of time, energy and resources
Empty Barrel, tomorrow morning you will start shouting marginalization and begging for position?go and tell atiku that the east of the Niger supported him but their votes is not and will never be enough to make anyone President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria.

By 2023 both APC and PDP will zone presidency to South ...The south is not daft to zone presidency to north come 2023
The kind votes that will come out from south will make the north fear..in fact that day trees and stone will vote...let’s see as things unfold grin

So u really think SE came up with only about 1.6 million votes for Atiku in the last election?

North and West doesn't want restructuring as far as they're enjoying power. Trust me.
It is the east and north ,that is benefiting from the present structure not the west.it reversed development in the west land made many educated people destitute.

You guys don’t know politics at all....the southern stake in PDP won’t allow that ..let’s see..and you think APC will watch and allow the PDP zone it’s presidency to north abi...PDP will scatter soon . As at now the southerner in PDP will work to sabotage whatever structure..see ma just keep quiet
Lol, you still don't get it.
all everyone in the PDP care about, is getting the presidency. That was why they even gave Atiku ticket.

Nothing more.

2023 will alao be about taking over the presidency. They would choose a candidate from the region whichoffers the best chance to win.

You didn’t vote Obasanjo, the military simply wanted obj in 1999 and they wrote the results in his favour

Buhari the military man has also written his result in 2019 n he will write it again in 2023 grin

Politically that is what you people say here, APC is a taboo in Ibo land according to you

you should know we never had Apc den, we the south eastern folks were generous with our votes then, we supported Abiola with all we had, we also supported OBJ's second term........
We only started supporting PDP alone when Buhari came into the picture, judging from the way he managed the country during the military era, we couldn't trust him and so we diverted.
For now, yes, Apc is a taboo in my region, because their governance is cursed.

Every single vote they could garner they did,but it was still a far cry from what was needed to unseat the undisputed heavy weight champion President Muhammadu Buhari.

Its a pity what journalism have turned to in Nigeria.
Plus so many lazy youths and Nigerians.
I read the whole thing over and over again....and i dont see how the headline came about if not to capture lazy youths and lazy Nigerians.

He seems to have a problem with the SE which every one knows without sentiments that have been playing politics of bitterness and hate....
Their sudden support for Atiku an Hausa fulani man whom they castigated and insulted the south west people for in 2015 speaks a whole lot.

Whats my own...south south where i am from already had a shot of almost 6 years. North will have rules by 2023 for almost 10 years. South West have ruled their own 8 years.
South East can keep playing their mumu politics....cycle go go round again....na senate president go be the highest dem don ever chop.

Bye

I will rather vote a Northerner instead of West.

"This is what I see happening in Southeast; you don’t vote for anybody, you only vote for who gives money, also those who say they are in APGA; all those who belong to the Igbo faction of PDP. They should think back and think of their own generation of those who are promising and who are educated and who don’t see politics as trading. Politics is not trading; it is a serious matter."

The only westerners that have a chance of getting SE and SS votes are Ayo Fayose and Fani Kayode. Beyond these two gentlemen, no other westerner will be able to sway the other southern regions to vote for them.

Unfortunately for SWesterners, the voting pattern in the SE and SS are usually by block votes. Nobody in both regions will ever vote for any other Yoruba person. Not after the betrayal that GEJ suffered in the hands of the SW. Both regions have a very long memory, and this memory will persist even beyong 2023, so SW strategists have a huge mountain to climb.

Northerners can insult the Igbos as much as they like, that will not drive Igbo or SS votes towards any Yoruba candidate. Igbos have a lesson to teach, come 2023 grin grin grin

What did Jonathan do for SW that they should had voted for him? grin

I am from the south and I don't agree with you... PDP will most likely zone it to the North and if APC makes a mistake to bring in a Southerner then they kiss the presidency good bye... The North will continue to rule us till sense falls on us and we unite amongst ourselves and the North Central...

Use ur sense, there was extreme voter suppression in southern Nigeria in the last presidential election.

There are important things to talk about and all I keep hearing, who will be president.
And it is worrisome that youths who should be thinking about there future instead wasting there time on irrelevant things

The world is turning away from oil
The country's population is growing alarmingly
Economy is still in backwaters
Instead of focusing on these important things, people will come online talking about 2023

The North that has been ruling since, and all the advantage they have, how much have they fared .
People really need to wake up from sleep.
Don't allow people that have no direction hold you in one place.

Wise up because if this mindset continues like this, how can there be progress and advancement.

You may not want to hear this but it is the reality. SS are more politically advanced than you people in SE. You're more or less driven by hate and not common sense. You cried and still crying more than the bereaved. Why can't you just take a look at the just concluded presidential election results? Look at the APC/Buhari's votes in the SS and compare it to that of your region! That's a pointer

PDP will give their party ticket to a Northerner and APC ticket will go to Yorubas. However, Igbos will vote for the PDP's Northern candidate in order to fraustrate the Yoruba presidency, but at the end of the day, only God gives power.
you guys should please vote Osinbajo for a better Nigeria, the guy is a good man, just that he has been emasculated by the Fulani/Kanuri in power.
