When you add up all the cash at hand your family members have and it gets to 3million, give me a mention.

I will add 2million to complete it for you.

2 or 3 million come be money. That's why people shouldn't brag no matter what they have. In life two things can cause a man's fall. An excessive obsession of self or underestimating the oponent.i won't brag. But in ten life times, you won't touch my shadow, not with 200 million. I'll respond to the 2 million issue later. When I have the time for you.

I see you feel pained that money is rolling in...

I wasn't born with a silver spoon... but I will die with a diamond spoon.

I love girls with entitlement mentalities - you can then go and die.

Go and sleep. Hopefully you can steal food from the family pot tomorrow.

This Nneka saga has shown that Igbo guys have really suffered in the hands of Igbo girls and they've been dying in silence for ages. I've read so many stories and I'm like wtf? Wow.

As an Igbo girl, ask yourself why only few Igbo guys tried to defend Igbo girls throughout this saga?

Even me wey be crazy Igbotic person, I couldn't even defend our Igbo girls.

You think we hate you people? Hell no!

It only means there's a problem somewhere.

I don't know if it's our culture or it's just selfishness on the part of the ladies, but I think the whole entitlement mentality by most Igbo ladies needs to be reduced.

It's not helping anybody, neither is it breeding healthy relationships.

The whole "oriaku" mantra is bullshit to me, after all we didn't spend so much money training my sister in school so that she will be oriaku one day. God forbid.

This whole hunger to marry rich men instead of the men who love them is not the best. Our parents play a role in this too, I must admit.

I believe relationships (or marriages) should be based on love and friendship, and not basically on money and what it can buy.

Now I'm not saying money is bad, after all relationship is built on communication and to enhance communication, you need money for airtime, lunch dates, cinema dates, vacation, etc.

But it's not about having millions. For Christ's sakes, your boyfriend is not renting you, are you for rent?

Personally, I can't date a girl who can't make her hair without asking me for money. Not that I can't provide but because I feel that there are some things an adult should be able to do for themselves. I hate people depending on me cos I'm a very independent person and I like independent people. That I love you doesn't mean I'm now in charge of your life. No, live your life while I live mine, but we still share our times together.

When you ask a girl why her boyfriend should give her money, she will say "it cost me money to maintain this body for him, other men will pay more for it"

Wow. See eh, I'm not a saint so I can tell you that I know how the olosho business works. If you want to make money with your sweet and expensive body, join the business, instead of blackmailing someone's son with sex, sex that even you enjoy too.

But wait a second, as a woman, do you feel proud knowing that sex is the only think you can contribute to a man's life? Think about it. Just think about it. Are you satisfied just being a man's intimacy gadget, all in the name of girlfriend-ship?

I'm not saying a man mustn't provide for his woman, but the woman shouldn't be entitled to it. It should be out of love. And ideally, love is not in a haste to receive, but to give. Imagine being in a relationship where the two of you are in a haste and eager to give to each other? Just imagine it.

He buys you a pair of shoes today, tomorrow you order a box of pizza to his office.

He buys you a new phone today, tomorrow you send pocket money to his kid sister in school.

He rents a shop for you, one day you come back from work and get him a brand new PS4.

I mean imagine it nah. Just imagine it.

The problem is that most girls think that the amount a man spends on them translates to how much he loves them. But they forget that a billionaire who gave you 1 million didn't lose anything compared to a struggling guy who gave you 100k.

The billionaire can give you 1 million and still not value you, in fact he will even treat you anyhow. But the struggling guy who gave you 100k is like the biblical widow whom Jesus said gave the best gift because she gave her.

I enjoin Igbo girls and girls in general to get busy with something productive. I think thats the only way to reduce this entitlement mentality.

When you start working hard to fend for yourself and you see how hard it is to make money, you'll appreciate any farthing you get from a man.

And most especially, you won't be a cash-and-carry or highest-bidder-takes-it-all commodity. Instead of being a pawn in the hands of men, you get to choose who you want to be with because, after all, you're not begging for money. You're not a hungry wench looking for a rich man to come and sweep her away

But anyways, you can ignore all these bullshit I've been rambling (who Chidey epp?) and expect a man to give you all of his property cos he loves you.

I know you know that Mr Eazi's song nah. I know.

But funnily enough and quite ironical, Mr Eazi's girlfriend is the daughter of the billionaire oil magnate, Otedola, so who is now giving each other property?
Eye opening piece, wrong title .

Self entitlement mentality is not particular to a tribe, it's applicable generally .

We have the Oriaku, Okpataku, Odoziaku. So you should be careful the kinda one you want in your life before coming to complaining. Many get roped with Oriaku and will come here complaining.
You tried with the writeup Sha but the hasty generalization is distasteful.
My write up was based on PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
