@OP This result is fairly complicated, I'll advice the student to write another exam and concentrate on core art subjects like Lit. Eng, Government so as to focus more on Law or any art courses. He still need to write Utme but importantly you can check with admission official in his school of choice for recent admission requirements.

No school will accept this kind of result for social science especially accounting and finance, business administration, economics because he is not having the required O level subject combinations.

The result is fishy. Anyone who can earn an A1 in maths will be at worst average in others. I would recommend Finance or Acturial Science on the grounds that the student actually sat for the exams without help.

He should go for herbalist studies or Islamic religion studies

Or it's as good as resitting for another WAEC. This results can not stand the test of time in labour market

It's possible, maybe he's sick on the day Literature was written or possibly there is no Literature teacher in his school or the syllabus wasn't covered

The student can offer Library and Information Science, Fin. Accounting, Religius Studies and Philosophy in any university in Nigeria.

He can study accounting, that is the only course he can do with his love for mathematics, I studied accounting without govt and lit. He should write Civic, Economics , maths and English in jamb

From what I can see, this candidate has a gift for mathematics. Instead of combining maths with art subjects, why not sit for another exam and choose science related subjects so you can study either medicine or pharmacy?

firstly the guy did not write the exam by himself, very very obvious, economics and maths are like 5 and 6 he average in econs and excellent in maths , red flag 1, he pass English and failed literature, red flag 2 that he did not write it with his head , go for any of the advise course and you will see how you will failed badly in higher institution, he want law but can not even pass govt
my point , the subject that looks like it comes from your brain are Islamic study and yoruba , and there lies in the two available course you can study , any other thing they advise you , you will face possible advise to withdraw in year 1....#hardtruth

Don't be discouraged by what anybody says, it is a fair result and you can be admitted to any University of your choice , basis the fact that you can pass their post UTME. consider a different approach and idea to life, Where there is a wheel ,there is always a way. Mass communication, History and international relations, labour and international relations, Theatre Arts, Linguistics, sociology and criminology etc. these are good courses and don't Let anybody discourage you. Find a good advisor and not on Naira land, because most didn't have a fair result as yours in their first sitting. #believe.
