Common sense should tell you that there is a minority of human beings who might be wired differently from the majority - just like a minority of humans are left-handed without ever choosing it. I'm assuming if you're not gay, then there was not anytime in your life you chose not to be gay. You just grew up knowing you're not gay and chose to project your own biology on everyone.
