I am a village chick -proudly one - and none of these characteristic is true FOR ME Advantages of a village bride- very obedient, easily awed, not exposed to the worldly things {so to speak}, But of course, I've been a virgin like 3x jk jk |

GL: So in summary you are trying to make a samsung work like a blackberry flipping the analogy, samsung being the village chic and BB, the city chic in this case you play dress up for ur samsung {village chic} just to make her look like a city chic {blackberry} does dat make her a blackberry still ? nope Ileke-IdI: you ? a village chic ? Village must mean a different thing to you |

googles: LOL I was born and raised in a tiny village. Best years on my life! I still proudly act like one. . . . I don't understand why people have this bad mentality of village girls/women. . . .lol |
Re: Village Brides Vs. City Brides by googles: 6:50am On Nov 20, 2010 |
Ileke-IdI: Lmao. . . If you are a village girl then I am a cave girl who tie leaves on her waist and strike stones to get fire There is no stereotyped village girl mentality darling. . . .its a "wat you see is wat you get" thing. A typical village girl acts like a village girl |

Someone of u r strangely funny wetin una know about village gals 4get dt one no bi by long skirt or thread do u know d number of devices wey don enter leave dt talk gal na gal irrespective of where dem breed am, it is a matter of choice to be a perfect wife or choice bride and not by where u were brought up, so be careful b4 u take d village gal home and find out something is wider than ur cooking pot or d city gal and find out she has got no brains just ensure d gal u take home is d one u want next to you, Shikenah |

Could growing up in a place like Zaria, kaduna, Naija be termed as a village upbringing? I once had a chick from there(though her parents were from ilesa). She was completely village to me, though extremely beautiful, when i met her. So naive. @topic. Not all of the countryside chicks are uneducated. |

Re: Village Brides Vs. City Brides by DapoBear(m): 11:53am On Nov 20, 2010 |
Hrm. I think a village bride. City bride sounds like she'll be expensive, not want to work hard, and probably be sleeping with houseboy/housegirl/neighbors. Also, for me I think I'l like to settle one day in somewhere relatively rural like Ekiti State. So not really interested in people who cannot do without living in Lagos or some big city. |

poster is somewhat naive to think women differ that much. for one thing village girls 'cut eye' and some city chics are still so dumb they're getting pregnant and HIV in an unbelievable rate. both can be faithful or promiscuous. heck! my street girl grew up in the city to do ashawo later in life and i know a village girl who has PHD. the world is not that simple, your way of thinking is the reason so many ladies stereotype people, situations and events, making wrong decisions all the time as a result. there's really little difference between 'types of ladies' if there's anything like that. the only difference there is that of individuality. so please starting from today, judge people by their individual make up rather than 'city' or 'village' typology. please grow up. And which guy that grew up in the city has gone to the village to pick and marry a "kpom!" that did not go to school? It rarely happens. ARG!! Nigeria is so stratified with people of 'upper class' and 'lower class' with everybody putting everybody else in the lower class than themselves. |
Re: Village Brides Vs. City Brides by chibaby5(f): 12:52pm On Nov 22, 2010 |
@Topic Whether village girl or City girl is insignificant. In my opinion, its solely based on Who u dealing with and thier personality. Yes there are stereotypes about these class of girls but for e.g U cn neva be guaranteed dat a village girl u marry will make sure your brkfast is ready b4 u wake in da morning. Itz a case of Good Upbringing and Manners and if the person has kept da virtues and NOT a matter of village girl/City girl. I think itz abit silly when sum guyz think when it cumz 2 marriage, itz only in da village they can find a good girl . Really amazing i must say . Mosta da girls in da cities hve had village experiences nwayz so i ask, Why wud u leave sum1 dat has tasted both worlds and go for sum1 u dnt knw hw they wud turn out when u bring em to da 'CITY'? (nothing against village girls) |

^^^ The OP asked people to choose from the strict choices she advertised in her post, Offcourse most people will either choose a cross-breed or city girl that they are comfortable with in real life. |
Re: Village Brides Vs. City Brides by chibaby5(f): 1:06pm On Nov 22, 2010 |
^ Yes but poster dint mention anything about 'Cross-breed' in her post Its either a village girl or a city girl |
Re: Village Brides Vs. City Brides by jaybee3(m): 1:41pm On Nov 22, 2010 |
I'd already chosen village girl on the first page based on the strict definition of the OP. So what's your choice madam? City boy? |

As 4 me I will choose village man anyday anytime. 1. He will be faithful 2. He will always bring fresh food from the farm 3. We will eat roast yam or corn and drink palmy every evening while gisting 4. He is strong and virile ( he will beat up any city boy in a twinkling of an eye) 5. he is loving and caring |
