1) to realize does not mean to find out a practical way to solve the problem. anyway, the distance and rudimentary differences between china and the west world are so insurmountably huge that, no reason to expect by any way china can catch up with the latter.

2) for thousands of years, china has been a leading civilization for its economy, its expedient way to juggle things , to hustle. they achieve little besides this. no literature, no art, no tech, no social norm...all of which are the cornerstone of modern society.
