I just did. And I tagged the state governor, Babajide Sanwoolu too. Let's hope they come to her aid.

I really wish the policemen were discharged from their duties and the hospital closed down. I hope the perpetrators of this dastardly act suffer worse fate in their lives.

Great great, that's a good move sir.

Primus almost had my mum killed about 15 years ago and are famous with unprofessional conducts. I'm shocked they haven't been closed up till now

Wow. Like someone suggested, write a post about your experience with them and anytime anyone googles their name they will read your negative review about them.

That's the best we can do under the circumstances, really.

Pls come up with a Nairaland thread on that topic and specify Primus Hospital Lagos to differentiate it from the one in Abuja owned by Indians

Why did they collect 3k fee from the Op knowing fully well the case is beyond ther capability, why did they call the police to harass the OP, why didn't they assist the OP by providing an ambulance from other sources if truly they don't have......etc
yeyeosoronga:

I dont absolve the staff of the hospital from being unprofessional, nobody should abuse anyone coming for help.
But the help was sought in the wrong quarters, which is my point.
Private hospitals should not be given that responsibility to 'do what they can do' in an emergency. Many private hospitals have only a single Dr on duty at night time who is likely just someone who has just finished medical school, mandated to look after their stable patients overnight. Even if those stable patients develop complications overnight, they will be in a very tight situation and should be moved to the government hospitals.
Rudeness or politeness in this particular case will help bruise or assuage egos, but that still hasn't helped the patient.
So if the purpose is to talk about unprofessionalism/rudeness that's fine we can go ahead. However, that still wouldn't resolve or bring solution to the daily problems we see faced by patients in a true emergency- such as delay in receiving appropriate care which will invariably lead to a poor outcome.
This leads again to the question- why were they in a private hospital in the first place?

Op Christian, as promised, N50k xferred to your nominated GTB acct - N25k for you and N25k for the victim. Pls confirm receipt. God bless you!

geegee08:
May God bless the OP!

Please send your acct no. I know you sacrificed time you would have used for your personal biz; and also to encourage you to continue to show love as Jesus Christ taught us, I would like to send you N25k. And another N25k for the woman's treatment - I believe you are a God-fearing man.

And please get the lady to contact her family to come take charge (If not already done).

Once more, God bless you and all who are supporting people in need. May your 2020 be blessed and evil far away from you and yours, in Jesus name.

OP, well done.
I've sent a token to the GTB account.

Once I get back to Lagos, I'll try to pay a visit firstly to the hospital, and then to the Police station whose officers refused assisting this woman.

Since they aren't ready to work in Lagos, they would be transferred to Borno.

The smallest thing we can do for one another is to be helpful to one another.

It could be anyone's turn some other day..... If you can.... I'd suggest you just approach them...
And let them know that their job has an expiry date... If it's not death... Then it's retirement...

How they would be treated when they're no longer able to wear the uniform depends on how they behave while they are in it.

The best doctor is the one that knows his limit. I really don't think any private hospital should kept this kind of injury .. They are meant for specialist, which are readily available in a teaching hospital.
i wanted to reply you regarding this earlier but i just saw a better reply from the government. A hospital that cannot atleast stabilize a victim before referral to a specialist is not worthy to be called a hospital. They just don’t want the person to die there not that they know thier limits. The doctor could have at least giving her something for the bleeding and pain then politely refer them. but i trust nigeria private hospitals
