Agbor isn't Ijebu. So WTF does your false equivalence have to do with anything? Is there any Dein or Ovia in landlocked Igbo land (Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Imo and Ebonyi)?

One thing that always amazes me about you guys is that you always fail to replicate the feat you always boast about in your region.

Your first sentence give such accolade to the Igbos as being the makers of Lagos but it’s a sad tale that you guys can’t develop your region up to standard first before helping other people develop.

Ogun state IGR dwarfs most of the states in the SE and the Ogun boast of the highest number of industries in Nigeria excluding Lagos. Soon you will claim you developed Ogun state and always try to talk down the Yorubas effort in developing our region.

How long will you continue to live in delusion and when will you guys rid yourself from this Napoleon complex syndrome?

No, no, . We are wise, we didn't solely develop Lagos, but Igbo presence & dynamism formed a critical component to the present day Lagos mega City status... which have started to overflow into Ogun State. Simple logic will tell you, the overall impacts of a population group representing 30% or better of overall population of a given space (be it in economy, trade and commerce, real estate, transportation, population etc). Now, if you deduct 30% or more of that population from the whole, you will end up with 30% less of the overall pontential of Lagos and subsequently Ogun State as Lagos and Ogun are symbiotically related.

Now coming to the question of why the Igbos always claiming to have developed Lagos, while their region is underdeveloped?. You know, this is one of the numerous reasons why Nigerian history is not taught in Nigerian shools and folks like you are lost in so many whys... things are the way they are, but I will try to answer this particular question with questions and I will leave it at that.

1). Why are the Igbos always sacrificing their lives in clamouring for their own independent state or regional government that will see their population from various parts of the country (Lagos/SW) reduce to its minimum level back into their region?.

2). Could massive Igbo migrations into Lagos/SW and other parts of the country rooted in the conspiracy between hausa-fulani/Yoruba right after the civil to neutralize/pacify the capacity and capabilities of Igbos through the most strident fedral government policies of marginalisation...20pounds, dividing up/ caving up their region, no Sea port/river port/international airport/no road/no fedral government presence/no industries/no rail roads/hundreds of army, police check points on the worst roads/ accidents that take thousands of Igbo lives yearly on Lagos to SE roads..... I can go on and on and on.

3). could it be that Lagos as we know it today in part came about by successive fedral government set policies right after the civil war drawn from those above aggregates mentioned in #2?.

Finally, can the Igbos or any group actually develop their region if they are not in the main stream of political power that doesn't respect the already tilted constitution that supposed to dictate how everyone live?.

They hate Buhari coz he is dealing with all the substandard imports (Chinese dumping) that thrived under Ebelechikwu. Now that the country has to actually manufacture and produce real goods, it's wailing of marginalization galore while still having time to boast about pulling out economically from the SW. What an oxymoron. Economic deadbeats. Time for the region west of the Niger to kick them across the river along with their stalls and Fidelity bank grin

I don’t even know how to reply you coz I can’t seems to get the logic of your argument.

You laid out most of point that are just a figment of your imagination and most of them are based on speculations. I can knock out every point you raised now but I don’t need to coz most contributors on this thread already told you what make the bulk of the revenue of Lagos.

Below is Lagos state growth over the years. If the Igbos are actually a major force that developed Lagos and Ogun for what they are today, logic should tell us that the Igbos ought to have at least one state that will be better than the region they developed.

Just like saying because Africans have companies in USA and migrating enmasse to America means Africans developed USA. Basic economic migration ideology always show migration from less advantaged region to more advantages region and not the contrary.

Emancipate yourself from this ideology of developing everybody coz it makes you come as someone suffering from a chronic Napoleon complex syndrome.

Read up about Napoleon complex online!

It's like Yorubas claiming Itshekiri and Akoko-Edo coz they have Yoruba influenced names or have historical ties to us.

Well, in this case. Their ancestry is Edo and the Dein has said it in no clear terms. Agbor isn't Igbo. Jim is Agbor. Deal with it

Ijebus are from Waddai Sudan, it means Subomi Balogun of FCMB, Mike Adenuga and other notable Ijebus are not Yoruba

Its ruling dynasty was founded by Obanta of Ile-Ife. They have oba, ogboni and baloguns like all yoruba city states.

First , the East can respond by boycotting the following
1. Boycott of Lagos Ports for Niger Delta ports,
2. Boycott Lagos Airports for Abuja Airports for international Flights
3. Universities in the South West for Universities in the East and Niger Delta
4. South West Banks like GTB, Wema, First bank, Sterling for Pro East Banks
5. Relocation of the Nollywood back to the East
6. Boycott and putting a cap to patronage of companies that dont have any base in the East ,cadbury, unilever, nestle
7. Trade tax for goods with no manufacturing base in the east
8. boycott of poultry products from the west
9. stoppage of dumping of goods imported from western ports to the east

This post no get sense at all..

Don't you first have to leave the SW and relocate back to your villages and sell all your goods and services to yourselves for this to work effectively?

You can not even force companies and investors to invest their money in hostile areas with little or no economic value and return on investments.

Go ahead, the SW won't miss you, that's for sure.

Lol, is this your evidence you claimed you had?

Many people also say Yorubas originated from Saudi Arabia, that means we are all Arab.

The difference here is that the Ijebus know their origin and they are all Yorubas like the Oyos, Ekitis, etc.

For example, Itsekiri people cannot be said to be yorubas because the already formed their own ethnic group name and some of them said they are not Yorubas even when they have yoruba sounding names.

I’ve shown you the place where Agbor was a local government name in Edo State. I even showed you Edo indigene bearing Agbor surnames and yet you’re still fixated on your own premises.
