Why all the long story na. Nobody can sabotage amotekun because it's here already. Before my people act on anything of collective interest, they take their time. Once they act, not even queen Elizabeth or western forces would stop them. I remember road safety which soyinka started in ibadan in those days as a regional traffic tax force. IBB as a military president failed to stop it. Eventually, it was adopted by the federal government . It was same fulani people who were against it then. What of independence? Awolowo said no going back and moved ahead but fulani people led by Ahmadu bello kicked against it, he said we were not ready but Awolowo pulled zik along and they achieved it.

I also remember the democracy which we fought for with our blood, which everybody is enjoying today. They keep calling us coward but the truth is, we have always led the way. Today, everybody is enjoying it despite the fulani's refusal to relinquish power in the military. On this amotekun too, our leaders are not going back...it would either make or break Nigeria, we don't care. Our lives matter to us and nobody can come from nowhere to take our land, this day and age, never! A herder was arrested with gun recently and his confession was shocking...that helicopter was dropping gun for them in the forest....to kill animals? They have an agenda but we would stop them...even if other regions remain in their perpetual sleep...we would never lose sleep on it
