Deadly choking Smoke slithers and writhes around the room stealing every breath from both Miranda and Kess....

"Come down.."Kess shouted with pants breathe...

Miranda wastes no time in jumping down from the staircase......, when she landed on the floor.., Kess raised the gun to the door and began to shoot bullets into it..., each bullets sound mingling with the smoke that tends to suck every breathe from them....

He didn't stop shooting until enough holes were in the door..., he climbed up and hit the rest of the wood with the back of the gun...

"Out now..."He shouted at Miranda who cough profusely from inhaling too much smoke before lifting herself on the ladder and climb to the main restaurant....

Silver grey smoke curled and danced their way to the main restaurant, filling the whole place with it's toxic smell...., Miranda knew there was no way she can still be inside the house and choke to death..., catching gasps of breathe, she hold her stomach and quickly ran outside.....

"Who made a choice....., there is nothing I can do, she's on her own..."

Lawrence exhale as his mind imagine the most horrific things happening to her right now......

"If you're ready to leave.."Claude chime in.."I'll inform Capisho to provide the men to leave with you..."

The flag on the car flutters violently in the wind. It was cute on the city streets but here on the highway it moves so quickly and noisily that the driver wonders if it might break away from the pole....., without awareness of the car racing speedily from behind him.., the driver concentrate on the road until the car behind overtook him and turn to stop in front of his....

The driver quickly kick on the brakes to avoid any form of accident....
Fear crippled him as men from the other car took guns out and rushed towards him...

The road was as straight as dried spaghetti.It took seconds for Lawrence eye to travel it's length across the prairie until it melted into the blue grey horizon in the far distance....., his eyes moved from the man who was driving to the man beside him before he settled them on the man sitting beside him in the backseat..., he took his gaze away and relished on the roaring winds twirling into his ears, the thought of Miranda once again crawl into his head making him furious.., he's angry at her for going to find the Godfather on her own and also angry at himself for not taking notice early.., she's been out of the palace since the previous day and he didn't know....

He glance towards the road hoping and praying he gets home safety without anyone gunning for his head.., so far in their trip they've no reason to stop and the men escorting him seems like they're ready for any danger in the way...., he shift his gaze back to the driver when the car began to slow down, he looked ahead to see men on police uniform standing on the road.., as their car slowly approached the policemen, Lawrence saw them placing a spike strip on the road, and just then it occured to him something was wrong.., the policemen couldn't have placed spike strip on the road just to stop them and search..., something was definitely wrong...

When the man driving stopped, Lawrence squirmed in his chair.., his heart throbbing hard against his chest..., he knows if a shootout begins, he can't rely on the men escorting him to save him.., he look around, his both sides were surrounded with bushes..., he turn his gaze to the policemen again weighing the pros and con of a possible escape if something funny happens...

"Officer...."The man driving the car said, a smile playing on his lips...

Lawrence heart raced when he noticed the rest of the policemen were approaching their car with their guns set in a position to shoot...., he watch as the men gain on them, standing in the corner of the four dooors of the car..

In a spring moment of whether to come down from the car or remain inside..., a gunshot sounded, Lawrence heart nearly collaspe when some of the driver's blood splashed on his face...., he quickly realised what was going on when the two other men dropped dead in the car seats...., Adrenaline floods his system, It pumps and beats like it’s trying to escape, he thought his heart will explode as his eyes went wide with fear.., he knows trying to run or fight them was a total waste of time, so he remained where he was until the command came..

"Get out of the car..."One of the men ordered opening the car door for him...

Eyes widened, breaths ragged and harsh, his hands trembled at his sides as he did what they asked...

"So we finally got you prince..."One of the men sneer

Caleb's brain stutters for a moment and his eyes took in more light than he expected, every part of him goes on pause while his thoughts catch up. After a wash of cold he jolted from his thoughts and fused his eyes on Tiger who was standing before them with a human head on her hand.., one of their people's head..

Miguel body vibrated with rage as he saw what his ears were telling him already....., he glance at the men behind her, each carrying a head of his men....
They glare at each other for a while, allowing their angry gaze deliver the message...

"These are the heads of the men you sent to kill me..."Tiger snarled throwing the head on the ground, the rest of the men did same and one of the heads rolled to Miguel's feet...

Chief Miguel boiled with rage as he look at the heads....

"You think I wouldn't know you'll try something like this with me..."Tiger added furiously..."If you think you can kill me then you better start thinking again...., the next time you send people after me, it'll be your head rolling on the ground..."

Anger curled hot and unstoppable in Miguel's gut, like a blazing inferno that wanted to burn him from the inside out..., he watch with raging heart as Tiger walk to her car and they drove out leaving the heads on the ground for him....

She watch as a smile circle the man's lips, it infuriated her, pushed her beyond every fibre of rage in her body...

"I'm the one you've been looking for..."The man said crunching down to meet her sited level...."I'm the Godfather"

For a moment she sat still, allowing the words sink deep into her head.., it dug out memories she has buried deep inside her.., that painful moment she heard the news about her mother's dead and then her father who died with the name of the Godfather in his mouth...., anger vex her soul, unleashing every suppressed rage inside her like a swelling of the veins waiting to explode, blood rushed to her head and she began to shake in the chair with such a force that she nearly sprawl to the ground and that was when she let out a scream from deep within that forces its way from her mouth, it is as if her terrified soul has unleashed a demon..., she wring her hands roughly against ropes, all she wants is reach out to him and released on him many years of anger., grief .....
