Bad foundation.

When both parties become strangers, no communication, no understanding, infidelity, no trust, cheating and so on.

It could be a combination of so many factors.

However, when the foundation is terribly flawed, and the intentions are rooted in very superficial premises, the end result is often times, "the inevitable".

Nothing but lack of self discipline, and majority let the society force them into marriage.

You don't have to be married to be happy, nor do you have to give birth to be happy. How do you explain that in a Nigerian society, they will eat you alive.
