With the way Boko Haram is destroying town after town unchallenged, it's now obvious that only a southern president can deal with the situation without so much sentiments. Imagine Obasanjo in charge and you expect Sambisa to be a habitable place for anyone including Shekau by now? Not possible 1 Like |

Sirjamo:this is a very silly thing to say. You people that understand politics is the reason why we keep getting bad leaders. How can you blackmail some people into voting a candidate that doesn't represent their progressive ideals? Some sophisticated mor,ons should ask themselves if Nigeria has progressed in the last 5 years 5 Likes |

Too many idiots on Nairaland. In whose interest do you oppose or even poopoo El-Rufai's suggestion? Do you really want a country of peace or does the constant bickering give you a hard on? 3 Likes |

North & South power zoning have been useless because the politicians have continued to speak one voice regardless of where they come from. There is no designed system yet that favours the growth & development of the country. |

Esseite:This sounds very great but the current supposed educated ones are becoming worse in action over the uneducated due to greed & the system that favours the thugs that the politicians have created over the years to gain control in the name of religion, ethnicity, gratification, etc. That is why you still see some hungry, unemployed & supposed educated one defending a wicked policies & failures of government in this forum. I don't see the country getting things right anytime soon at least not in the next 100 years. This is because it is presently divided against itself "politicians vs the people". Though the politicians hide under several useless lines. "Religion, ethnic, etc to always achieve their aims". The country has never had a common enemy that will force everyone to fight for a common good as one hence the divides. The cheap independent gotten without a fight didn't help matters that would have created the nationality for the country. The only thing left now is hunger & insecurity but the people has been distracted hence they don't see it as a common enemy. 1 Like |

Sirjamo:erufai did not mention voting, he said in the spirit of equity and fairness power should go back to south, u insult others but the genesis of the problem is from lots like u,if u say the north should not have it the second time based on the spirit of equity and fairness, and u know the igbos has not had a share of it and u here campaigning for the west to have it again who are u?are not promoting injustice in ur own little way?there should be a country built on equity and fairness not on voting patterns, u are a young man always stand on the part of justice which ever divide u belong to ,injustice to one is a treat to justice to many. |

Psady: Psady, the indices are very bad. Nigeria is surrounded by Fulani herdsmen and terrorists. Nigeria's economy is on its knees. Our armed forces are compromised ditto our institutions. The judiciary is compromised. Poverty stares Nigeria in the face. The political leadership doesn't care because if it does, it could have done something about the mayhem being inflicted on Nigerians by roguish Fulani herders. I can go on and on. |
