ajl: You uttered this rubbish even after reading that the man was tested and the result was negative or you mean he infected his passengers with his negative results? Some of you just love to hear yourself talk, but end up sounding ignorant You either didn't read the article or did but just did not comprehend what you read. Abeg stop embarrassing yourself. 3 Likes |

Mrexcell: You can wish for evil and disaster all you want, but our brave men and women are on the job trying to protect you and your family while chicken cowards like you dwell on negativity and doom. The best you can do is pray for your country, pray for the brave men and women and our first responders out there trying to protect you and your family. 3 Likes |

This better be real as we don't want any audio news. On a serious note, the points of entry into this country should be manned enough to avoid stories that touch. |

As usual,African with their firebrigade approach to issues marred with claim and counter claim of fake discoveries and breakthrough. This premature announcement is quit unfortunate, as the novel virus (CAVID-19) is still at its entrant stage into the country and it is thoughtless for any one to start celebrating any effort put forward to curb it.Since its is still at inception stage.Lagos department concerns should withdraw and debunk this news wholly. Thanks

If this is the case travel bans from corona infested countries need to be enforced, this would help control on a global perspective |

APCNig: it is not that we have super intelligence than the western world the truth is the west is being consumed by 2 factors especially in disease control 1. Citizens who are tone deaf and do not follow instructions. everyone wants to prove he or she is smart. imagine some people in America still complaining they want to go on a cruise at this critical time. no naija will think of that at this time 2. people in the western world lack proper hygiene. in naija, with all our water supply issues, people love to wash their hands before eating even if it’s rice, with spoon if you want to verify this go to any Mr Biggs or even road side mamma put you will see people washing their hands before they eat, in western world i have seen men leave toilets and just walk away when there is an abundant supply of water spits |

We did well on this occasion. I strongly believe our experience in handling Ebola and Lassa has prepared us well ahead of this pandemic called COVID-19. Imagine a Nigeria without those experiences, it would have been disastrous. 1 Like |

APCNig: You are a fool if you think COVID-19 has been contained in Nigeria. If you don't test everyone then you can foolishly pat yourself on the back saying you did a good job while the disease continues to spread. |

ogbonti: Your second point is a big lie. Have you not seen the dirty and flooded environment some people live in? Market women will be selling food on top of gutters, bus conductor will sneeze and hand change to someone while holding the rest of the money in his mouth. Even in the public toilets, which are rarely clean, people use their bare hand to wipe their anus with water there will often be no soap available. Even worse I've seen women rub their toto with just water and their bare hand in public and in their mind that is hygienic. 1 Like |
